I've read that once you update an item, you can not sell it or auction it. If that is correct, then If you have an item that is an 'investment', say a Mod Fap and you upgrade it, then your investment just goes bye bye? I hope I AM missing something?

In short, u can open slots on an item true using em, and
put enhancers (amps) on it.

U can auction em, and the thingie is u need an second item
on unl items too open new slots.

you can sell themm only via auction at moment.

not in player vs player direct trade. but i think they said this is a "known issue" in the vu description, so i think it will be tradeable later on.
