Ok im pretty sure most people know about this now.

But for those who don't it's impossible to get sweat in 70% of the games areas, been like it for a few days i believe,

So i was wondering when it's gonna be fixed.. it's annoying being new without being able to sweat o.o

A list of non-bugged sweat areas would be nice , aswell , so you know one , say it and i'll add it

List: :dunce:

I sweated in about a radius of 1 kilometer near Atlas Haven. The sweating worked there though I have only gathered 6 bottles out of 15 times trying. :(

Hmm, north of Argus works fine.

Perhaps MindArks' "Balancing Manager"'s response to uncapping the sweating skill?

Apparently, the new sweater's haven is Fort Troy. It's turning into PA. Shame it's a pain to get to for new players.

For what it's worth, I sweated a couple of Exa Stalkers and Prowlers on Amethera yesterday, just to see if it worked.

I don't know what the plan is, but maybe they wanted to get new players to disperse a bit and relieve some of the lag around PA and Camp P.

ive said it before (in another thread) i hope it is just a bug. I liked the way things worked at phoenix. Sweaters brought in the sweat to make ME, which a lot of it was turned around and used to heal the sweaters while they gathered more. It worked out for both ways. I would hate to see MinkArk ruin such a case of teamwork. New players had it just a little easier getting started ingame and more seasoned players had it easier gaining skills much faster. I would have to say well over half of my skilling in first aid (no mindforce at that time) was done at phoenix healing the sweaters. The appreciation they had shown was more than worth the cost of repairs on my fap (along with the skills of course)
If phoenix is in fact dead on sweat gathering, i would like to find another place to set up a sweating area to help out the newcommers. Its hard enough to get started in Entropia, i feel they could use all the help they can get

I am reluctant to say that fort troy has easy mobs and is non bugged, however I would appreciate it if NOBODY sweated there because it is no help for the hunters that are hunting or skilling. It is getting really hard on the hunters there because there are hundreds of players sweating that just want their sweat and will divert mobs onto innocent bystanders to get it! I have been killed numerous times by mass daikiba that a newb diverted onto me so he could sweat... I was killing them one by one with a maddox 1, backing up, faping, and wearing rascal armor... I don't know everyone or how they act, but I do know that 40% will act similar to mr. "nice guy"
PS the whole time he and his friends were cussing at me because the mobs weren't dry

well, dear sweaters, you have mainly 2 choices
first, sweating is easy, then the price is low, so you complain about the price
second, sweating is harder, price is higher, then you complain about the work
come on, accept it, find another area, and all is fine, guess you will also see a price increase when this stays :)

Fort Troy works :)

prices has not gone up yet...Still rip off prices.......i don´t sell my 8k under 1.2......

and yes, sweating is working in almost everyplace except PA and phoenix....Just wonder out in the nice landscape and sweat :D

Lots of fun out there :D

Fort troy is not a good place to sweat, lots of better places.....

this are no rip off prices
when i started and sweated, the max amount of sweat you could get was 5
not 22
and the price, was 1.3 if you were lucky ;)
you had to sweat much longer for your peds
atm it is quite a paradise for sweaters, thats why i don't understand the problem
if you can't sweat in PA or Phoenix, what did change?
you are doing exactly the same, with exactly the same intensity, just somewhere else, and a possbible effect could (just could) be rising prices

It is not exactly the same. You don't get healed and you get no focus around Troy or JC.More important I miss the armaxes....

There are a bunch of armaxes NE from Troy.

Also, I was there several times today healing and giving focus charges.

Give it time. If this is permanent, more people will show up.

Problem isn't initiated players that already can move around free, but that beginners that wants to try out the game quickly learns that something (sweating) is bugged, and that mid-level players tell them to to to places they've never heard of.

Escorting a beginner from Port Atlantis to Camp Phoenix so they can start learning the basics is usually pretty painless, it's a totally different story to escort someone to, let's say, fort argus...

Yeah but no one is shooting the maxes...they would kill 3-4 sweaters until someone run it to the turret so there is no point in bringin them yet...
I don't think any place will turn into a 2nd Camp Phoenix

well, as long you dont run too far north you wont see armax
and there you can run south too ;)
simply stay more close to the town
that you don't get bubbled is just a matter of time
those ppl want to skill MF, so they will find their victimes, if more victims to bubble are in Troy then i PA then they will go there
when noone is in Phoenix to bubble they will find out why, and they will come
healing the same
to the problem that the newcomers see that EU is bugged, well, according to MA it is common, and not surprising that 70% quit simply because they don't like the game, even when it was like before. (i can confirm those numbers with finished disciples, but mine is more 80%),
So, left are 20-30% of the ppl who will play at all.
Those are usually depositers, and lets say max 10% are really sweaters who sweat over time.
Im pretty sure that those WILL find the places to sweat, since they like the game and like sweating :)
just a matter of time ;)

sweating an amrax is more fun than uhm like sweating just a daikiba or an exa...anyways I hope it's just a bug and I hope they will fix it soon...

What are you doing hunting DaKabias right next to troy anyway- in rascal even? You could easily run out a bit farther and be fine and not bothered :wise:

I started a year ago playing, sweated the 2 first weeks. Not many bottles, and the price was around 3 to 3,5 a bottle :)

true
and it was even 4.4 for a week, but this was during a change
before this, you could trap mobs, and get sweat (still in the max 5 bottles times price, 1.2)
a lot of ppl used AC, etc, to sweat thats why the price was so low
then the trapping was introduced, so, no more sweat from trapped mobs, and all the AC users had to sweat on their own, means, now it was work, so less did it, so less, sweat, so higher price (up to 4.4)
max amount per pull was raised, more sweat available, price dropped to around 3
then they recognized that you could stand on a hill/spaceship and sweat the mobs, price fall, combined with the raised amount to 22, the sweat price fell again 1.1-1.3
sweat cap removal, so all ppl can sweat again, price stayed at 1.1-1.2
why does it stay at this?
this is easy, now the same ppl sweat as before too more or less
the newcomers of course, but also the "professional" sweaters
with the sweat cap, they simply used multiple accounts (guess why PE has 400 000+ participants) and sweated with them until they couldnt anymore
so, overall, there is not THAT much more sweat on the market, even with more possible sweaters, so the price stayed, and if you see the number of mindforce users atm, which is overall quite small, simply because it isn't that economical, then you will understand why the price is still so low (i still think it was made from MA to lower the multiple accounts, sooner or later the number of participants becomes ridiculous high, and most ppl will see that there are NEVER more then 100k online)

if you want higher prices for your stuff, that is natural, and we want it all
but maybe my little history lesson showed you one thing, the price was much higher, and will be higher again, it never really lower as now
since MA announced a change in mind force, you should maybe consider to hold your sweat at least til the next version update, you never know, maybe it will be worth 3.4 then ;)
most likely it can't go down much
still, it is a risk ;)

and i will still stay with my opinion, that it is MUCH better as it was when i started, you get loads more sweat per hour then i did (no complaining, i sweated 2 months when i started ;) and got some evade skills with it)

the problems to sweat in 1-3 areas aren't that bad, this will just reduce lag in those areas (i just went to phoenix when i had a tp run with my disciples, if it is less crowded now, thats an advantage, same for PA)
now, to the problems sweating newbies will have, true, but billys is not that far away, and it should work there
that it is hard for newbies to reach troy or billys is not true
when you run east enough, you will either end in billys, or 2, maybe 3 possible stuck outposts
from those you have 3 options, depending on position
back to PA (usually quite hard)
zychion (quite hard)
Troy (often the only possible way)

we will see if this stays and how it will end, but it could be much worse
(says Alice, who read 10 books in the 2 months while sweating)
:D

Haha I just seen the first one complaining about losing he "lag-free-zone" Troy :p...actually...I haven't seen anyone here complaining about the price so I don't get the point :/

the point is that it may raise, although you do the same thing, just at another place, since PA isn't an option, or phoenix
this could lead to a higher price
i just wanted to say with it that it might have advantages, not more ;)

ah I see I see...well I don't think so...and even if the price raised to uhm 1.25...that's only 50 PEC more a 1000 bottles...I mean...at Phoenix I got in the same time like 200-300 bottles (~3,50 PED) more

and you gain 200-300 bottles per hour less now?
i don't know what time you need for sweating, maybe i should do a sweat hour testing myself :D

Dunno if it was a hour...I say: the time I need to collect 1000 bottles at Troy is the time I needed to collect 1300+ bottles at Phoenix

All the yellow and red circles on the map are great for sweating!

Hm another annoying point coming up: sweaters are offending hunters ("fucking idiot it wasn't dry")...now they think they own the place regardless of hunters have been there much longer than them :/

i still just think its MA planting a bug for a while. They are probably trying to update the area and dont want a whole lot of people there to make it lag more while this is happening. Also in case you havent noticed, the sweat price has dropped really low so this might be them trying to increase the prices.

Or trying to get people to explore areas other than PA, Billys and CP
