I am sure you know that there are places on the planet, where for no apparent reason, you get stuck and can not move. Happened to me this morning. I was next to a log and just got stuck. When I first started I would try everything to get loose and would finally hit the "T" key to go to the nearest revival. Sometimes that was a long way from where I was and took time to get back and the mob I was hunting would have all his health back if I could even find him. I finally realized that, if possible, I could spawn a vehicle next to me, jump in, and just ride away. Problem fixed.

Hope this saves you some time when you get stuck.
 
Try holding w and spamming M next time
 
As Mike says alternately press map and forward or jump. This will get you unstuck about 50% of the time, otherwise it is a hit "T"
 
Dropping a vehicle and clicking on it can work sometimes. You will get in the car and be on your way.
Alot of times the terraine will not be suitable for dropping anything.
I use a surfboard in the water sometimes can get unstuck. from the shore or rocks.
If your too deep it wont work.
Calypso is water world if you havent noticed yet flipping your ride over Lol..
You can also try to log out and back in if your upside down or really stuck.
