Since I never had a mentor myself and made a lot of mistakes abviously loosing some PEDs; I deiced with a couple of friends to take disciples and teach them the game so they could graduate quickly and have fun on the way.

Don't worry we are not after a mass of disciples, we will be strict in our choice and actions delivering a good Project Entropia experience for starting players.

We will offer:
------------
- Multilingual mentoring { English/Deutsch/Русский/Finnish/other }
- Male and Female mentors
- Initial lessons upon arrival
- TP runs (including escorts from unsafe areas)
- Guides to Hunting/Mining/Crafting and Trading
- Integration into an "educational" society
- Assist our graduates picking a society according to their interest
- Provide advices and a social network
- Hunting/Mining/etc events & competitions with prizes
- Hunting big MOBs with skilled hunters and large teams
- Fair prices for your looted/mined goods (no obligation to sell to us)
- Advice on chipping skills

We are looking for:
------------------
- Mostly European players (our times are CET and GMT)
- Players who are able and willing to learn quickly
- A depositing player is always a big plus but not necessary
- Both male and female players are welcome to apply

Some of the n00b equipment can be rented without charge and be must returned fully repaired so it can be used by others.

If you're interested, let's arrange a meeting!

Thanks we try to do our best...

I know this guy and I guarantee that he is a very good mentor! I learnt lots of things from him. Unfortunately he is not my mentor :-(

Thats a really cool thing you doing here, and can you believe how good your karma will be? +rep

And i can provide escort from some tough places, send me a pm and lets meet up.

.:: Wondering ::.

Thanks for a ll the +rep and the good words...

I'm quite puzzled now. As soon as someone puts up a more or less professional advertisment for mentoring services nobody seems to want it.

But as soon as some "mentor gift hunter" put's up two lines in broken English he/she gets like 30 disciples who run around Eudoria and curse their mentor... :hammer:

MindStar9 as you're a psychologist and if you happen to read it, can you maybe explain this kind of behaviour?

First ... I'm not a psychologist Hon, but a behavior analyst, as well as a psychology professor and personal life coach ... but that aside ...

Second ... I would need more information than what you're giving me here in order to evaluate what it is that you're perplexed about. Is there a specific link you can direct me to in order to gather all the variables that play into this scenario ... or give further explanation as to what you mean by "mentor gift hunter" ... bcuz I just don't understand Hon.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help at this moment, and unless I'm just having a blonde moment here, I need more information to even appropriately respond to your request.

Thx! :)

MindStar9, I think we should continue this one in private I've got my first two applicants. I think that the biggest problem is that n00bs don't know about that place. This is the main reason why there are so few people responding to the add. I was kinda puzzled, because if I would have seen such an offer when I started, I would be very happy to apply. That's why I called for your professional advice. (I should have listened to the Psychology professor back in my college times, we played HalfLife instead...)

Happy to announce some new applicants and by doing this I bump it UPPP :D

another few joined.... buduuuuuupm

Bump

Just came back from a mission, decided to bump it up a bit :)

So here I was, just about to throw my looted FAP-5s in the TT when I thought of this thread. Would you want some FAP-5s? I think that I have about six of them, total TT about 6peds.

If this is something that you could use, like gifts for progressing diciples or whatever just pm me and we could meet.

Since you are not just "mentor gift hunters", would you take new players who had a mentor that had disappeared?

Hey!

Most of us are on CET and GMT but around 5 am is not a good time to catch us :) PM me when you go onlien, and just apply to the society if you like.

I applayed to your society now. Could not find out how to reach you whith PM.(thats short for Private message right?) My ingame name is Jhon Mikel Kingston if you want to look me up in the game. ;)
Read around a bit and found out that i might not get a mentor because i have too high skils, since i have played for almoust 4 days now. Could you guys still help me then or are you just looking for totaly new guys?

Welcome to the SOCIETY (buuump)

Im from Australia and just about to start playing, I would love to have a mentor before I start the game so I can get this thing start on the right foot. I know that your GMT etc, but if your unable to take me on can you direct me to a group that is near to my timezone.

Hey Mate!

We would love to take you but as you mentioned GMT might be an issue here. Unfortunately I don't really know any players form Australia (GMT is probably the reason). I'd suggest you post a thread on the forum and see who comes back, I'm sure you'll find someone. But I'll ask around as well, let's see...

P.S. What's exactly our time diff?

The diff is 8 hours (+8GMT Western Australia). Not sure what times your players are on, but if there on GMT and Im on at my normal time it would be 9am and I would be playing till 3-4pm your time (5pm-9pm my time). At least that is on week days any how, on weekends it would be pretty much all open. But I have a feeling that if I get hooked on this game as much as I think Im going to be, I will be on more then I should be... and I just got a new job that pays very nice, so I think I will be pumping a bit of cash into my account all most from the start.

EUTropians is truly multinational

Just an update on the Society Progress!

EUTroopians is growing quite steady and we are reaching a good number of active players. At this moment we are over 50 members with decent skill progress.

We have members from Europe, USA, Canada and one of my mates will be playing from his business trip to Nairobi. So we are truly multinational and are covering multiple timezones with active players.

Our first recruiters made quite good progress in the areas of:
- Hunting (several HOFs)
- Mining (several HOFs)
- Crafting (attachments and tailoring HOFs)

Some of our members have chosen the path of trade and are actually financing their game play through business channeling the societies goods to the free market.

We are still recruiting but soon we will put an end to the recruitment as we need to gain a higher maturity level to be ready for bigger things...
