Missing Characters of EU

I was looking around the forum and saw some mentionings of different EU characters that have gone missing over the years. Like the Mad Hacker story and the Prof. too. My question is: How many characters have gone missing over the years and how many of those have been found? Is there a complete storyline/timeline of these events?

History is a favorite subject of mine and though I have read the "Story" of Entropia Universe(was PE when I read it) I don't recall reading about these characters and the individual stories about them. Any help with stories you know, links, or maybe article archives would be great.
