In the last week or so Entropian artists have started offering their work through the EU auction. At the moment Core CBB Bloodbrother, Paul Bmw de and Marianne Red Witch (for example) are all offering pictures for sale.

However the auction system has not quite kept up with the artists. So if you are looking for a new picture it might be helpful to note that:

-MA pictures appear under Decorations, but you have to look for this new art under Furniture. (This is presumably because atm the system thinks these pictures are just empty frames, And at first sight you might agree, as they have no titles or other distinguishing text in the listing to help you pick them out. )

-To find out which frames actually have pictures in them you need to look at the value column in the offers for frames. Anything with around 90% repair upwards is worth checking as it could be a picture (though it might just be a blank but fully repaired screen).

-Then open the detailed info for that offer and after a second or two the picture will appear in the frame.

That sounds like really risky business for the art sellers in question. Of course, the most likely buyers are people that already know some about personal content, but how many wouldn't class the seller as a reseller for selling what seems to regular frames at crazy prices?

I hope MA will do something about this and at least create a seperate section for frames with actual content.

Thinking same!

Infact didnt even know where to look, sorry artists :(

Its not good enough MA! Hope they sort it!

Thanx, will check it out Fin :)

If PC art is being classed as empty frames in the auction, then that probably means the same with the market data. As art will sell for more than the cost of the frame, these sales will effectively be driving up the price of frames.

Because the artists need to buy the new frames to load the art, it will be a self-perpetuating cycle of inflation. At least until they reach a point where the punters can't afford to buy anymore.

I predict good times ahead for sign crafters, unless MA separates the art and empty frame data.
