Cyrene is set to have a bunch of mechas, you can find some concept art at Entropia Planets... also, Kim hinted at the ones at Jameson's being possible to use in the future:

The use would be somewhat limited though, as it is with the tanks today.

nice I just got back to playing recently so I have missed alot of things these past few years. trying to get back into school myself for graphic design and game development. thanks for showing me them cause lookin at these new planets and concept art makes me wanna try and finish classes. I just dabble with sketch art on my own in the meantime. off to the dream world once more *wanders off into space* :)

Agreed, but maybe it would be time to "open" them to the mobs hunting.

Indeed, a mech could be more like an "extra armor" with guns, which could possibly allow players to use them for hunting as well as PvP :)
