Considering how the crafting machines are placed in the Crystal Resort Beach Lodges bar...? :scratch2: does this setup remind you of anything?

Hmm. I can see how that might give ppl the wrong impression.

Yeah, specially since this is in the so called "Tiki Bar" that also has a bar (with an auction monkey) and some chairs and stuff...

lol they forgot the pull lever ;)

Very interesting... hmmm

that's a little blatant there

Yeah, I certainly caught that when I saw it. I may have to try crafting there sometime to see if I hit the jackpot.

I'll disagree. After all, the design and the choice of color makes it obvious that they're a serious tool for... oh wait...

crafting gives you quite predictable return in you know the market and control what you are doing but it's the biggest money sucker so it makes sense... first you get smashed then you do something stupid :)

:)

Yea I understand that some might think this, however

NeverDie Style... Vegas... Glamour,.... know what I mean?

Next they will change the crafting timer to poker card or lucky 7 rollers. :yup:

Do you at least get free drinks?

And I thought it was important for MA to not give any type image that this game was gambling ... that just takes the cake, and everything I've seen so far just does not fit with what David Post's vision was for Next Island ... certainly not this aesthetic, and it looks rather cheesy on top of it.

I'm waiting until the real Next Island shows up, and then I will make my trip and do an article on it. I will be objective (yes, I can be), but I will also be honest, which is how I've done all my writing since day one.

That does look a bit casino like. Whats next a mob named gamblor with 50k hp that has a 1/100 chance of ath

I aways think that crafting machines placement should has a sweatshop atmosphere. Casino style environment should be a no, no. Otherwise EU is perceived as a pseudo investment "scam". :yup:

Do the craft machines there sound just like a vacume cleaner like they do on Calypso and RT? I miss the old cachunk cachunk clang sound at least I didnt feel as tho I was being taunted as they suck the ped from my grasp.

EU is like freaky sex.. Everyone knows its gambling they just dont talk about it. (in board rooms, bars, courts of Law, mens bathrooms in Europe....)

looks like a claw machine not a slot machine.
