Question: [Omegaton M83 Predator] vs. [EWE LC-625 Gleamer]

There are many good guns in Entropia and some great guns.

Availability and skills requirements aside, I was wondering if there is any reason someone would stick with an Omegaton M83 Predator vs. an EWE LC-625 Gleamer?

Assuming max skills and Tier 10, does the Gleamer simply outclass the Predator in every way? Is there something to be said for the slower, higher damage per-shot Predator?

Enhancer and amplifier (L) consumption speak for the slower one. The effects of overkill are often debated, also depends on context where you use it most (e.g. participation in shared loot or other settings against big mobs vs. mostly grinding smaller ones). Haven't had either one myself so this is from second-hand knowledge and derivation.

Edit: Forgot at first, with the recent changes to enhancer break rate (depends on effect now instead of fixed), this may no longer be true at all or to a lesser extent. How much exactly it matters, someone with a sufficient sample size is hopefully able to answer. Also interested in knowing this myself.
