Pallas' newest mining log

My last log ended rather suddenly, as I found myself in a rented apartment with an inadequate internet connection, no desk, no space to record notes, with my laptop balanced precariously on a pile of boxes!

I'm home now ..... and have decided to compare results from (1) a TK320, unamped, but with 10 depth enhancers, creating a depth of 1485.1/1485.1, and (2) a TK320, with Level 8 amps, but with no enhancers, creating a depth of 850.8/850.8. I'm interested especially in whether the unamped but enhanced finder brings up more rare minerals.


My starting stats: Drilling 3518; Extraction 2962; Geology 3863; Ground Assessment 2585; Mineral Sense 1237; Mining 4358; Prospecting 4248; Surveying 3962.

The broad cost for each run will be about 180-190 PED for the amp and 60 PED for the probes, then of course also decay.
