We are working closely together with MindArk to create the first ever online automated suport system for Project Entropia.
The system works by MindArk clearning their support cases of personal information and sending them to the system.
You can then either browse your way to a supoprt case that match yours or search for a support case.
You can then read what the solution to the problem were.
- Newcommers help site.
The site is in its nature mainly targeted on newcommers as veterans usually have more player specific desires and it would be impossible to cover all aspects of the game.
- Not a forum.
PERC is not a forum. We have no plans on making it into a forum. We use EP and EF.

Auction logging system.
Pricefinder is a auction loggin system in Project Entropia that seperates it self from the other auction loggersis the way we are able to present the data for the user. We offer many features no other auction logger does.
- Ending auctions from the clientloader.
PE PriceFinder works by collecting information from the Project Entropia clientloader each 60 second. This is done completely automated, ensuring everything is updated correctly in the PE PriceFinder database.
Items are reconized by the database and linked with the right category.
Pricefidner can generate estimated market prices.
- Overview.
When viewing an item on Pricefinder the system will show you a general overview of the items prices in the last 14 days.
It will also show you important information as average selling prices.
- Extended info.
If you would like to study the raw database data a bit more you can also see the extended information list.
This shows you all information we have in our databases about this ite,
We even show you when there has been bid wars on certain items.
- Overview graphs.
If all the numbers gets too much for you, you can also choose to get the information presented to you as a graph.
The overview graph will show the last 14 days of data comprised into two graphs. One graph for items that did sell, and one graph for items that dident sell.
- Annual graphs.
If you would like to invest in an item it is prehaps good to see how the prices on this item is now compared to the prices 10 months ago. This is possible with the annual graphs of the item. The annual graphs will only show selling values.
Pricefinder is customizable.
- Custom colors.
Pricefidner works a lot by color identifiers. You can set up your own color scheme on Pricefinder.
- Custom frontpage.
If you have certain items you are very interrested in it can be a bit annoying to have to browse your way to those items each time you enter any auction logger page.
Pricefinder combats this by allowing our users to decide what items they would like to have shown on the frontpage.
The frontpage items will show you average prices during the last 14 days, how many items sold today and yesterday. It will also let you click the item name so you can get to the main overview page
directly from the frontpage instead of having to browse your way to the overview page.
Pricefinder in IRC
- Get the latest prices directly in IRC.
Pricefinder has also a bot placed in the #Pricefinder channel.
This bot can tell you the last selling prices of any item in Project Entropia.
To ask the bot what the latest price of a given item were simply type: !price Itemname
The bot will then find the last item of your choice which got sold and tell you the stats for this item.
An example could be:

- Echonomy estimation.
With all of the data we have collected from the clientloader it is possible for us to make accurate market indexes of Project Entropia.
Those maket indexes show how prices are going within certain professions in Project Entropia.
The market indexes will show you how many items were sold and what the index were at the time.
Registeration
When using Pricefinder and peBay it is very important we know who you are. There are several reasons for this but the main reasons on Pricefinder is that we offer you customizable pages. This is only possible if we know who you are.
To make sure we dont get any fake accounts we will send you an email with your password in, along with an activation link.
All mails on PERC and its subsystems are in HTML format. So make sure your mail host accepts HTML mails.
Login
When you login on Pricefinder and peBay you can select the system to remember you. This is only adviced on private PC's.

Why Pay to use?
- Dedicated sellers on peBay.
With the introduction of the 5 USD or 50 PED premium account fee we hope to combat fake accounts on Pricefinder and peBay.
We do not whish for fake accounts since this can mess up the whole auction idea. We realize it is impossible for two friends to bid on each others auctions.But we have tried to combat this by only allowing premium accounts to sell something on peBay.
- Servers costs money.
Servers arent free, dont forget that!
We run the site on professional servers on backbone lines to ensure you get a fast connection to the server.
- Time spent on making the systems.
The making of PERC, Pricefinder and now peBay has taken well over 10 months. The average workhours pr day is well over 5 hours.
- Time spent on maintaning the systems.
Whenever we find bugs or imporvements to the system those are programmed asap. We usually work on articles, bug fixes, improvements for 3-6 hours each day.
- Low one time fee of 5 USD or 50 PED.
To show your appreciation of the systems and gain full access to everything on the sites there is a one time fee of 5 USD or 50 PED.
The basic aspects of the system can still be used without paying this one time fee. You can however not use pricefinder as you have before, nor can you sell any items on peBay.

Auction style.
- How does it work?
peBay is a new type of trading place for Project Entropia.
peBay offers its premium accounts to sell items in a new and exciting way.
Premium accounts can set up bulk sales, complete armor sales, hunting set sales and so on. One of the moste fustrating aspects of the ingame auction in Project Entropia is that you can not set up sales with more than one item in. On peBay it is possible for you to set up sales with as many items in as you desire, provided you have a premium account. peBay is a true auction site, where people can bid on auctions and as such there is no buy out price possibility. All auctions will start at 0 PED but the seller will before the auction start set a hidden reserver price. This reserve price is the minimum price the seller agrees to sell the items for. Another reason for setting it up as this were that a seller might set his minimum reserve price to 100 PED but the auction could close at 99 PED. Inside Project Entropia this sale would have no bids since the maximum price anyone wanted to pay were 1 PED below the minimum price the seller wanted to sell for. With this system the seller could still choose to sell the item for 99 PED. This is not possible inside Project Entropia.
- Ending auctions
Auctions that are ending will be listed on the frontpage.
- Hot auctions
Auctions with more than 5 bids on will be listed on the frontpage.
- Overview
All the diffrent item categories will be shown on the frontpage, with information of how many auctions there are in them.
Find what you are looking for
- Browse
When looking for an item you can either browse your way to the item.
This is done by clicking on the category, then on the sale name.
The seller should name his sale so its fitting to the items incuded in the sale.
- Search
You can also search for a specific item.
The search will return all sales that include that item.
Mail system.
- Automated emails.
The system uses your Pricefinder useraccount's email to notify you when needed.You will recive emails only contaning information of use to you. We will NEVER release your email to ANYONE. Not even MA.
You will recive emails when you have bid on something, when you have been outbid, when a sale you are running have ended, when someone asks you a question or when a sale you are the winner of have completed.
- Send questions to the seller.
You can send a mail to the seller of an auction.
This is done via peBay's mail forms.
- Seller can reply to questions.
The seller can reply to mails sent from peBay, by clicking a link in the mail and filling the mail body. The seller can not reply to the email address. The email address is a PERC mail address which just gets sent to my trashcan
- Secure. (nobody will know each others name, email and so on)
Our biggest focus about this system were that we needed to make it secure so no one would get any personal information released.
We managed to do this by only allowing mails to go through the actual site.
Rating system.
One of the biggest problems on other auction sites have been the legallity of the items a seller were to offer. In some instances the seller werent in posession of the item he were selling. peBay combats this problem by only allowing paying members to sell their items on peBay. We also make use of rating systems. Everytime you have conducted a sale of have bought an item you are entitled to rate your seller or buyer based upon that sale. This gives the other users of the system an opotunity to evaluate the seller or buyer before conducting any buisness with him.
Adding Auctions.
- Header for sale.
The sales header is the name you are giving your sale.
This is what potential buyers will see as the first thing when they see your auction, it is therefore adviced you give your sale a fitting name.
If you are selling one item it is adviced you give your sale the name of the item. If you are selling multiple items in the same sale the name should be a small description of the items in the sale.
For instance if you are selling a complete Pixie set and a Jester D-1 the name of the sale could be "Complete Pixie(F) + Jester D1".
- Duration.
The duration of the sale is the number of days the sale will be avalible for.
The longer you select the duration to be, the longer it will be offered to the buyers. If you need cash now it is not adviced that you select a long time periode, as there is no buyout possibility in this system.
- Preferred payment method.
The preferred payment method is how you desire people to pay for the item(s) if they win the auction. Currently we offer PED or PayPal as payment methods. We do not take any part of the money or item transactions. If you whish for new payment menthods to be avalible please suggest so via the feedback.
- Reserve price.
The reserve price is the minimum price you are willing to sell the items for.All auctions starts at 0 PED, but if you have selected a reserve price of 100 PED the sstem will notify the bidder that his bid is not high enough to win the auction. The bid will still be logged. The reason for this is that the ending price may be 99 PED when you have selected 100 PED as reserve price. In this case you would prehaps still be willing to sell the item.
If the bid is higher than the reserve price you always agree to sell the item.
- Note.
The note from seller function is your advertisement for your items. Here you can type what you like about the sale or the items.
For instance you can type when you will be avalible for the ingame transaction.
- Adding items.
When you add items to you auction on peBay you have to fill a few forms with the items information.
This is so the system will know where to place you item, and make searching for the item possible.
- Select category.
The first thing you must do is to select a category in which the item you are selling is placed. The category listings are the same as on Pricefinder.
- Select item.
When you have selected a category you must select the item from that itemlist.
- Filling in the rest.
The rest you need to fill is the items TT value and the Qty of the item.
- Possible to add multiple items.
If you want more items added to that auction you must press "Add more items to this sale".This will take you to the same page where you now can add the new item.When you are done you click the finish button.
This will take you to a page where you can see how your sale will look once its live in the system.
If you are happy with everything you must click "finish".
If something is wrong you must cancel the sale and re-create the sale with the right information.
Viewing sales.
- Reserve price.
The reserve price is hidded from the bidders. This is to ensure they bid what they think the item is worth. Rather than bidding 1 PED over your reserve price.
This way you are likely to earn more than your reserve price.
If you think of it, inside Project Entropia a lot of auctions end at the reserve price. But if no one knew the reserve price the auction would be likely to end with a higher price than the minimum price.
- Pricefinder link.
To the right of all items in a sale you can see the last 5 Pricefinder prices for this item. This is to be sure you arent bidding way too much for an item.
Finish a sale.
- Meet up with the person ingame.
When you finish a sale peBay can not transfer money or items from one account to another. So you have to arrange, via the mail system, where and when to meet ingame.
- Rate the person.
When you have met the person ingame you are adviced to rate the person asap op the website.
You will recive an email with further instructions as to how this is done.
Personal page.
- Auctions you have bid on.
Sometimes it can be hard to keep the overview of which auctions you are bidding on. peBay offers a personal page where you can see a list of all auctions you have one or more bids on.
- Auctions you are running.
You will not get any emails if you auctions get bids, to check you auctions you can go to your "my page" and check your own auctions.
