The following is for the nUber who was trying to mess with me last night...You know who you are!
I was hunting one day in my favourite spot,
when an asshole came by pumping shot after shot,
into too many mobs, everything he could see,
sending the rogue ones bouncing to me,
so I asked him to practice, and learn how to hunt.
No reply, so I thought ‘What a miserable runt.’
I ignored him and controlled the mobs that he sent,
as I swallowed the decay and the ammo I spent.
No sooner had I finished the mobs in my path,
when he did it again, ‘he’s having a laugh’,
I thought with disgust at the sight of his name,
as he stood there trying to ruin my game.
I asked once again for his manners to show,
he continued, though I guess the story you know.
After the fourth, I had taken my fill,
so I decided to show him just how it feels.
I took him a present, so easy to see,
four mobs, the same as he sent to me.
Did he like it? No of course he did not,
but he chose the path by not caring a jot,
about the costs that he caused me, the decay that he brought,
still some people I know on manners are short,
but I don’t take that stuff without turning around,
and paying them back where assholes are found.
At revive I stood waiting for him to appear,
‘Now learn.’ I stated, could i be more clear?
But abuse he hurled, and threatened my soc,
‘Who cares? I said, ‘about words from a cock.’
I’m not scared of you mate, it’s easy to see.
‘I’ll kill you!’ he said. I replied ‘PvP?’
I guess you ARE uber the knowledge you share,
although you do realise I’m safe down there?
It’s not PvP mate, it’s easy to know,
as you look at your HUD and see the green glow,
of the ‘safe’ sign that means that I can’t be killed,
But like a child his anger was revealed,
As he pumped a few shots in the mob I was on,
firing away with his big plasma gun,.
So I laughed as my gun had fired few rounds,
and then wasted his ped on a mob that I drowned.
No chance there, for you, to take my money,
but I’ll happily waste yours if you want to be funny.
Money and equipment do not make the player,
Noob is how you act, not the things you acquire.
You showed your true colours, but you really should see,
I don’t back down when someone messes with me.
6 years I have played to your 5 years ingame,
I may not have your money, but I don’t bear your shame.
Take a long look in the mirror you arrogant man,
and try to adjust and improve if you can,
for the attitude you bring will make you few friends,
as you do what you want to achieve your own ends,
and remember my adversary that this fact is true,
it’s a statement that I want to make clear to you.
‘Skills and equipment will take you so far,
but knowledge you nUber is the key to the stars.’
