100PED of ammo burned, 300 to go.
175.71TT remaining on the pistol (it breaks at 100) so im right on target with it.

Since I'm at the 1/4 mark and I started getting a warning with my vivo T1, I decided to repair both the vivo and my plates.

Vivo T1 repair = 8.38ped
3A plates repair = 8.21ped

Thats over 20ped(counting the SK20) of plate/fap decay for 100ped of ammo. 20% is higher than I like, but I expected something like this since I'm killing them so slowly.

TT of gun+ammo+loot = +118.16ped

Since the youngs are taking 15 light blp packs to kill I am pretty happy when I get a 12ped loot.

Calculating from my 1/4 point decay, I estimate that my armor/fap decay will be about 85ped, so my hope is to keep my tt returns above +85 till the end, then any markup will be profit.

Not nearly as good a run as I have been having, more like what I expected to be doing.

The only interesting thing that happened was achieving lvl 5 Decoy Dispenser.

It looks like my estimate of 85ped for protection decay will be about right for the entire project.

As long as I can break even on TT I am confidant that markup will let me profit, so my spirits are pretty high playing ahead of the curve.

I am going to hold off on any skill gain tracking until the project is over. (I just dont have enough free time) I met someone who is camping LA#4 with the unlimited S30 and 400ped of ammo the same as I am. They started around the same time as me after reading this thread, the main difference between their setup and mine is that they are wearing Hunter. I have invited them to post their results there, but will let them do that in their own time if they want.

I had another though for a possibility of what weapon to use next so am looking for input on what people would be most interested in seeing. I will use the same armor/fap combination and the same 500ped weapon decay+ammo as this project, the only difference being the weapon. CB5, Smacker Three, or TT Knife. Let me know what you guys would like to see and I will "probably" do that.

What was the decay on the bodyguard? Not asking in regards to the project, just out of curiosity. ;) (Been sweating in my bodyguard since I got it and only down 10-15PEC in decay)

Not nearly as good a run as I have been having, but I am still far enough ahead of the curve that I am content.

Nothing special happened, Leveled a couple non related professions and found 15 dung.

I peeled my plates off and stuck the Bodyguard in the tt to see how much has decayed so far. They started off full tt at 38.60 and are now at 33.03. So total decay so far on the Bodyguard(L) for this project is 3.57ped.

Acheived Ranged BLP(dmg) lvl 19

People have been asking me if I am board yet. The repetitiveness does get a little old, but with the armor setup I am using its still a challenge to stay alive, so the "fun" element of hunting is still there, its just ALOT cheaper. I am doing the same amount of hunting now on 10-30 ped a day as I did during 2x camping drones with an Adjusted Embra C1 and 300-500ped a day. The same repetitiveness for both the same fun for both. The two biggest differences between them is that I was gaining a lvl a day on drones, and ill probably gain 1 level or so for this entire project, and even though I believe that return %ages will be the same, I was averaging a global a day with the drones which added a "fun" element to it even though it wasnt really a difference in my returns.

Nice project Narfi!!! This has inspired me to try some merps too while I wait for auctions to sell.

Here are my results so far.

Using SGA Opalo and Kobold Armor with 2 2A's and 2 1A's

(The plates were a mistake. I thought I had all 2A's attached, but all ok. Set up seems to work ok. I may adjust this when I return to storage.)

I'm doing 5k Ammo runs and not keeping track of skills. Sorry, maybe I will do that another time.

Vivo T1 Repairs= 5.92ped(I didn't repair the 7.9ped of decay on my plates, ped card is too low :( they will have to wait till the project is over)

Another solid run, two 5ped loots and a 10pedder, but nothing special.

Im pushing to get done with this project by the weekend, not sure if I can or not, but want to do some soc hunts etc... and want this finished first.

note: talking with her in pm, she told me that she was in a team that looted gremlin gloves(M) as well, so while the drop I got may not be common, its not super rare either.

'IF' I was able to sell the skill gains at market prices, I would only need to get 75.6% returns after decay to break even with this gun on these mobs using the same hunting style.

These numbers really surprised me, I had no idea the value of skill gains were so great in ratio to the ped cycled. It will be interesting to see how this changes with different weapons.
I see three things that may factor into differences using different weapons;
1. Different weapons may give different ratios of skills to ped cycled.
2. Different weapons give skills that vary in market price(handgun varies from rifle or SB, etc..)
3. Faster dps weapons will bring in less defensive skills which are more valuable.

So the interesting thing will be to see if less decay on armor/faps is worth the lack of skill gains in defense and healing.
