Just for fun number crunching...

Just in case someone's interested....here's a small rundown of the distribution of DSUs given

Stuff we can extrapolate from this table:
- By participating in this event, your chances of looting a DSU 1 or 2 was about 86.3%.
- Your chances of looting a DSU 1, 2 or 3 was about 93.8%
- Chance of looting a DSU 1 to 5 takes up a whooping 99.15% of the entire distribution of Qty of DSUs looted.

- From points analysis, we can somewhat see that the points given out per class was roughly even for all DSU Classes 1 to 7.
- Only on DSU Class 8 and 9 do we see some rare discrepancy or anomaly. (Which was probably due to the "rarity" of looting those DSUs.)

* Note that this does not take into account the number of monsters you needed to kill in order to loot a DSU nor the level of the instance....just that IF you DID loot a DSU, what were the chances that it was a Class X.

Go Figure. :tongue2:

----------

Remarks:
To get to a minimum of 5000 points, you needed to roughly loot about 1007 DSUs (if everything went according to distribution).
Out of which, its approximate distribution might be roughly...
715 DSU Class 1
155 DSU Class 2
75 DSU Class 3
38 DSU Class 4
16 DSU Class 5

7 DSU Class 6
1 DSU Class 7

To get to Stryker's number of points, you needed to roughly loot
about 5959 DSUs (if everything went according to distribution).
Out of which, its approximate distribution might be roughly...
4224 DSU Class 1
920 DSU Class 2
448 DSU Class 3
223 DSU Class 4
94 DSU Class 5
41 DSU Class 6

8 DSU Class 7
1 DSU Class 8

(The "Remarks" part is purely useless and only serves to show you the amount of dedication you might have needed to get that amount of points. In other words...you can roughly imagine how many monsters you would have needed to kill as well as the "size" of the PED card you would have needed.)

Just imagining the number of monsters you have to kill.... Urrgghhhh.... (¬_¬ ; )

So far we've determined events are only fair if Star takes first and a brand new avatar takes second.

I was out of town that weekend so i guess i fall into the inactive players hah.

terible event only 2 people played it for real :(

Not very many active players

not rly just don't participate as always same avatars win (basicly 10 avatars usualy are in those 10 first places).

gz to the winners they are both good ppl and long term hunters.

Avatar Globals
Jenna Star Mercury 294 Globals
James Jimmy Stryker 232 Globals
(Shared Loot) 230 Globals
Angel Shadow Heart 114 Globals
ENTROPIAS MOST WANTED 92 Globals

As expected, I didn't win. Miraculously, none of the 5k pointers came to me and only 1 of the 1k pointers.

Go figure...

I guess 2nd is better than I thought MA would allow me to have though so GEEE thanks MA. On the plus side, I wanted the laser sight more than the scope so at least they didn't lottery award me 3rd or 4th or 10th.

I know no one else can relate to my position on this, I suppose no one could ever fathom being 62 globals ahead (at a rate of 5-8 per hour) and still somehow magically losing by less than 1k points.

It's never really gonna change m8. It's a "winning system" for MindArk. As long as they can.... they will....

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't MA supposed to ignore mu for loot? If that's the case, didnt the 4th position win the "best" prize with the highest tt value? Of course I understand that this isn't normal loot. But it seems to indicate they are acknowledging that mu has a ..... value ... (wrong word probably, in bed and late night now.) I was previously under the impression that they don't acknowledge mu and everything is based on tt as far as they are concerned.

im pretty sure prizes won in events are not "loot" in MA or players eyes
