LA51
This land was not even included in the previous episode, but now it is added to the lands which can be mined. But reports say Merps appeared in large numbers on these lands and the northern area is still infested with Estophyl. So this land might not be so miner friendly as before. It would be a challenge to mine on it. Maybe with help of explosive weaponry skillers some resources are to be found there.
The advantage of this land is that Atami's Paradise TP is very close
LA52
Molisk are widely spread there but their aggression level is not that high. Beware when entering this land for mining, but reporters let us know mining is still possible and nice finds are waiting for those who like a challenge.

LA45
Thanks to spraying anti-mob powder daily we managed to keep this land free of all mobs. So these rich mining grounds can be the main land for the event and allow to have a peaceful mining run exploring & exploiting all mining techniques available & you know of.
The advantage of this land is it is known as the superb mining land, which could make this your primary target !
Let's speak about the new challenge
Many people mine and the government is pushing everyone into using amplifiers and enhancers. While we encourage the use of amplifier & enhancers to get bigger finds, we want to lower the standards of what deserves event points. A wise miner knows to be very careful with big amps and uses them when the number of finds is high. But effort should be rewarded. Therefore we want to acknowledge this and for this event we have decided all finds as of IX will be accounted for.
Big isn't always better in this episode, so yes this means YOU can win too !
How to score
You can score by finding mining deposits
and reading carefully about the bonus rules.
Let's start with the deposit sizes
Yes, you read it right .... as of a global we keep the points equal.
That is exactly what we mean with screw twirlies, so making this event fun for all.
Even if you can't afford the biggest amplifiers, you can win.
They are of course not forbidden to be used !
Also in this event some extra points can be won
Bonus 1 : Get a VIII, IX, X, XI, XII of the same ore : +3 points
(only once per person per ore)
Bonus 2 : Get a VIII, IX, X, XI, XII of the same enmatter : +3 points
(only once per person per enmatter)
Bonus 3 : Most finds on LA45 at the end of the contest : +4 points
(sum of # enmatters and ore finds, size is not relevant)
Bonus 4 : Most finds on LA51 at the end of the contents : +2 points
(sum of # enmatters and ore finds, size is not relevant)
Bonus 5 : Most finds on LA52 at the end of the contents : +2 points
(sum of # enmatters and ore finds, size is not relevant)
Bonus 6 : Highest total number of finds over all LA's : +3 points
(sum of # enmatters and ore finds, size is not relevant)
Bonus 7 : Lowest twirlie : +2 point
(only attributed to 1 person for all LA's)
Bonus 8 : Highest twirlie : +1 point
(only attributed to 1 person for all LA's)
Bonus 9 : Bring a Friend : +5 points
(Get a friend to declare you brought him into this event before his first post)
(When he scores at least 10 points you will gain the bonus)
(A friend can only be brought in once and by 1 person)
(The friend can continue to participate and keeps his points ofc)
What can you win
First prize = 400 ped
Second prize = 200 ped
Third prize = 100 ped
BONUS PRIZE 1
At the end of the event, all people with at least 50 points or more will have the opportunity to join a 1 hour mining event and can win an additional 100 ped with most finds in the category which gives points as described above.
BONUS PRIZE 2
All participants with at least 100 points can choose to schedule a 1 hour team hunt with the LA owner Atami on the mob of your choice
(team dmg decides rule, 50/50 split on items > 50 ped & hofs or above)
HOW TO JOIN
Just post a screenie of your claim with position, time & date on this thread (preferably also the map but not mandatory).
Each claim must be posted within 48 hours after the find to be valid.
When ... see the add at the top of this thread (10/3 - 10/4)
Need further clarification on some parts ?
