SFE takes the razor to Armour prices
------------------------------------------------
SFE MONTHLY PRICE GUIDE
------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone and welcome to the Southern Fortress Engineering Price Guide!
It is our intention each month to generate these guides and while our amazing Marketing gurus are updating the SFE online catalogues, we will post in this forum, any of the armour prices that have changed, either more expensive or cheaper and explain to you, the community and our loyal patrons, the cost driver behind each price change.
Firstly, the familiar preamble:
So, let us take a look at the month of March 2010.
Due to everyone being monstrously busy recently, the CEO, TimUnleashed, has kindly written a slightly abbreviated version of our regular Price Guide. For a better idea of the regular style then please have a look at the list of older Guides here

Firstly, the familiar preamble:
As the Treasurer and manager of SFE's shops, it is my responsibility to set prices that are reasonable and fair. In order to do this, SFE undergo a once a month review of prices that is an intricate balance involving the current monthly averaged market prices, procurement prices as supplied from SFE Logistics department, success rates as dictated by SFE Crafting department and of course blue print procurement for those blueprints that have a limited life expectancy! All of this swirls around my own amazing little spread sheet and out comes the price recommendations for the following month!

The in-game materials economy seems to be settling somewhat as we move further into the era after the Second Golden Age. Quite a few materials prices have shown a drop in recent weeks, and fortunately for you our customers, this has flowed through into a price drop for a lot of our armours. Check out the price list on our website and see if the armour you want is at a price you like!
A lot (but not all) of the materials we need to craft your armour come from either mining or hunting. Perhaps a recent glut has been responsible for an over-supply of a lot of these materials. In any case, we're paying less for materials, and that means you can pay less for armour!
We've changed quite a lot of our prices this month, but take at look at the main ones we're excited to offer you!
Major Price Adjustments
Pioneer: Price Decrease, total suit down from TT + 21 to TT + 16.5
Vindicator: Price Decrease, total cost of a suit has dropped by 70 ped!!
Warrior: Price Decrease, we've shaved 3 ped more off the cost of a suit for you
Dragon: Price Decrease, total cost of a suit has dropped by 70 ped!!
Expedition: Price Decrease, total cost of a suit has dropped by 180 ped!!
Orca: Price Decrease, various percentage drops on various parts means a total drop of 52.83 ped for the cost of a full TT suit!
Samurai: Price Decrease, a full suit (not including the Foot Guards) now costs 30 ped less than last month
Luna: Price Decrease, despite having already dropped a LOT recently, we've dropped the price by another 179.75 ped. In November a full TT suit cost 2,034.43 ped. Today, a full suit costs only 1,440.58 ped! Definitely time to rethink the economics on this beautiful armour.
Solir: Price Decrease, a full suit costs 114.65 ped less than it did a month ago!
Lich: Price Decrease, Lich just keeps getting better and better! Now we're only asking 3,411 ped a suit. That's only 450%, a far cry from the early days when it would fetch closer to 1,000%. Have a close look at the value for money you can get with the fantastic protection provided by this armour.
General Comments
Lich just keeps coming down in price! We think it's a great way of setting yourself up for those times when you need big stats for a big mob.
Luna has now dropped by 98.4% in three months. That represents excellent savings for a great PK armour.
