Help: Something out of the ordinary

Hi guys,
I haven't mined for a long time so I was wondering, is it possible to find something out of the ordinary while using amps?
And is the finding rate as big as without?

I cannot remember myself

I do remember that to find for instance himi while using amp is hard, but without amp it's very easy...

Yes It is possible to Find it while using amps, and the chance of finding it seems to be the same as unamped. Its a random event...Good luck

found 2.5PED of angel scales whilst using OA101 a couple of weeks ago if that helps

Expect to have "you have found somethign out of the ordinary" every few thousand bombs, sometimes 4-5k bombs, unless they have changed the rate for the event, but i have not noticed yet if they have
