hi everyone, i started playing around oct, 2010, ive been reading several mining logs lately and though that id finally start my own. as you'll see on any screenshots ill be posting i have 4 enmatter/ore finders, i dont have any particular way of mining just yet, most of the time i just drop and pray. for ores ill be using of-1,2,3, ziplex z15 and for enmatters mf-1,2,3, ziplex tik200. ill let you know if i change these later. anyway, ill get this log on the road, in it i will try my best to keep track of all expenses and markups as well. gl to all, and i hope this log starts off on the right foot. :yay:

also, i wanted to add, that unless im feeling particularly lucky i wont be amping. if anyone sees any mistakes i make please let me know. :)

update: added a of-105 to my arsenal.

trip notes~~well i was wandering some shops earlier today, and then i saw a of-105 that was 10 ped below markup, so i thought ahh what the hell, and bought it. dont have it maxed yet but used it this whole trip. ended up getting 2x IX, 1x XI, 1x XII. hit rate was my best ever, i couldnt believe how few nrf's i had. i suspect my run of good luck will be ending soon...but hey, knock on wood and fingers crossed.:wtg: also this trip marked an event for me, it was my first time finding langotz ore, gotta say quite a lovely markup it has.:ahh:

Woot, nice profitable run, mate. By the way, which ore finder did u think is the best for you now? Recently, I noticed that most of the claim's depth is lower than 400m. Did you having the same situation as I did?

since i bought it, ive only been using of-105, i really like it for some reason haha. most claims seems to be below 400 also, i had a couple that were around 350 though.

Eww, the 0% claim rate is very suck, mate. PS: I know how you feel, coz I've been this situation some of the time... Anyhow, gz for the SOOTO :wtg:

I've mined quite a bit on Medusa the last month, particularly Enyo, and have had a lot of long nrf streaks. I've just come to accept that there will be times that I go 3/37 (like I did at one point recently), and there will be times that I hit 11/21 (like I also did recently). Don't know what it is about Medusa, but I rarely have consistent "normal" hit rates there...it's always more streaky.

yeah i had a bit better luck on a different island, probably stay away from enyo until i can use a deeper ore finder.
