Suggestion : Ignore thread option

How about an thread tool "ignore thread", when used the thread wouldn't disappear or anything like that, but new posts in that thread wouldn't make the new posts icon appear for that forum for the user who ignored the thread and the thread title wouldn't show bold in the listing. Then you wouldn't have to check forums that only contain posts in threads that you're already told the system you're not interested in.

The moment i saw this post i immediately thought " Gonna place New Planet Partner - > Barbie on ignore"

For some reason i get the feeling that the author wanted to do the same...
