My 3 best mining spots are now infected with swarms of little thingies that are impossible to kill but easily kill me. Oh the nice things that come with new VU's... Now I need to spend another infinite number of probes finding other good mining places

I had the same problem, but after a couple of days I went back and the mob's were gone, from my one site at least.
