The End of GC Leipzig ?!

Actually, it seems the convention has shifted focus to online and MMO games.

Thats a very sad thing actually, I dont know any other important European Conventions, so, European MA fanbase wont be able to support our beloved virtual universe :( Well...time for some virtual conventions eh :(

Its not that sad, since all the big gaming companies moved to another convention that will be held in Cologne this year. This is kind of superseding Leipzig and its rather old news which was announced like half a year ago.
The big companies wanted to move the convention away from Leipzig for quite some time already, mainly because Leipzig sort of cannot sustain much more growth because its limited in hotel rooms and it cannot reached by plane that easily (e.g. you would have to go via Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt etc.).
They should have moved it to Berlin though ;)
