If this one sales, the next one may go on auction before long... but maybe not... I sort of like the idea of having shop 1 on block a and having an apartment A on floor 1 to match it.

I just bought another L-quent too... so now have like 4 of them, 3 of which are in the shop to hold the main bps in the library. If the l-quent sideboard bug gets fixed soon (I have a support ticket in on it) I'll probably re-arrange the l-quents to make it so that they are standing sideways so you can see the bps from a distance instead of having to get up close to see the top of the shelves - since bps are so thin, it's easy to miss them, especially in the window outside.

As I upgrade the shop over the next few years, the l-quents will come in handy and start being filled more and more as item slots in the place increase.

I also am thinking about buying one more tron tower to put in the window outside to make stuff more visible from a distance... but there's no tron towers on auction currently :(

Another option, besides a tron tower in the window outside might be a shopkeeper out there, but it'll be a long while til I can afford one of those again.

The Google Documents are not up-to-date at this time, but will be shortly.

Tron Towers are now used for holding most of the blueprints in the shop. The face of each Tower is set up as a category of Blueprint. The blueprints on each face are organized by level, with Level I being in the top row, Level II being in the second row, etc. The bottom of each tron tower is reserved for L, High QR, or otherwise Rare Blueprints for the category that that side of the tron tower is showing. It is hoped that this new organization system will keep you from "getting lost in the Lost Library."

added a few things...

Had a few more bps sell today. I don't have time to update the google documents but will in the near future (probably before the end of this upcoming weekend)... had to reload the shop about 3 times over the last 72 hours for some quick delivery sales.

In the mean time, I've put a few starter gear weapons and armor in the shop priced at very good prices. All prices are below market value I think.. actually everything is +1 ped minimum that the shop allows on this stuff. There's some Kobold, Pixie, CB5 (L)s, Emik S30 (L), and a few other items on the front tron tower.

Also, at the request of one of my crafting buddies, I put a Matter Driller in the front window for now, along with a nicely priced Alekz scope.

Go get em while you can. It's a bit of a resellers delight on this stuff, or a n00b give em a break time til I take this stuff down and update with blueprints when I have more time later.

Come on over and take a break from sweating and find yourself some good gear that's priced cheaper than the auction!

I'll try to update those google docs the next time I get some free time. I do owe my crafters several peds... just don't have time irl to do much lately since we are currently living with an in-law since the in-law has a broken foot that just had a huge pin put in it that goes from the bottom of the heel half way up towards the knee... so they need help getting around.

as mentioned in earlier posts... even though the editing of this thread's title was done, the thing still shows up with the apartment and booth in searches :( ... Just for clarification. The Shop is currently in the Omegaton West Habitat, Delta Tower, Block A, Shop 1. Take the Omegaton West Habitat TP, go down the stair well and follow the sidewalk, take a right, and walk along the edge of the building past several other shops. The Lost Library is at the end of the row of shops there, near the corner of the sidewalk that starts leading down the auction room. I used to have a gigantium sign there, but at the moment have another type of sign.

I'm working on updating the spreadsheets since there were quite a few sales earlier this week. I've done about 1/3 of the updates so far, but still have several more to go to get the google docs all in-sync with current status on everything.

Crafters that were in consignment deals on the items that got sold will be paid over the course of the couple of weeks for the profits on those sales. In the mean time some of the peds going to crafters are sitting on tt+0 auctions. I did a deposit a few days ago, and now the deposit money got tossed in with the profits and went on to the auction for those +0 items just for the heck of it til I get the spreadsheet updates worked out and caught up.

There is a possibility that some blueprints may start being bundled and sold here on the forums too, but I'm still debating with myself if that is a good idea or not at the moment because I'm not usually online in long spans of time that are usually needed to set up deals here on the forums as you login, sit and wait for the other avatar to show up, if they do, etc.

There is also a possibility that some blueprints might end up on the auction that Atlas Haven Radio is doing sometimes. Details of that have not been worked out either yet.

Mother-in-law's foot still has about 5-7 more weeks of no pressure on it til the pin in it that goes from the bottom of the ankle halfway up towards the knee is at a level of healing before pressure can be put on it. In the mean time my spouse and I have to watch her like a hawk and help out all that we can with cooking, cleaning, helping her to bed, helping her to the bathroom, etc. If we didn't have to do a lot of that stuff the spreadsheets and things would have been updated by now. It's really too bad we don't have real world FAPs and Vivos that can heal you up instantly...

After updating the spreadsheets, it appears that there is over 296 peds that are going back to crafters in consignment deals with the shop just in this little update. Just think, if you had been a crafter in a consignment deal with the shop some of those peds might have ended up being yours! ;)
 
one more update for the night...

I did some more interior decorating tonight...

Many more bps have been added, swapped, or repriced (lower prices!). Additionally, number of tron towers in the shop has been reduced to one inside and one outside in the window. Gigantium sign that used to be inside is now outside too.

On tron towers, things have been re-organized in a much less cluttered manner. I think you will like the way the lost library won't get you lost as much as before... ;)

daily bump. Also... there's going to be some interesting things happening in Delta Tower soon. I might end up owning 2 apartments on the same floor in the very near future... Each apartment can hold a max of around 20 shopkeepers. I can't really afford 40 shopkeepers at the moment, but eventually, if business keeps growing, there may end up being 40 of those in there.. It will take a few years to get to that level though more than likely... Yes, I know, I should probably pinch myself and wake up, lol... but... just imagine the possibilities... 40x20=800 item slots! Add that to what I've got now, and well... you can see where that could lead too...

I didn't think I'd be joining the biggest society in game 2 years ago, or even owning one estate, much less 3... especially, all in the same building, with two on the same floor... so things change.. and happen a heck of a lot faster than I think they will when it comes to this sort of thing sometimes... :)

but... got to keep main focus on the shop downstairs on floor 00 for now... so I'll keep bumping it, and you can keep finding great prices there!

Deed's in hand...

Just picked up the deed to 1D apartment in Delta this morning about 10 minutes before the server went down at Omegaton West Habitat... Paid for it with a Loughlin Scratcher 1. Good luck to the new owner of that nice little knife.

Now I'm in possession of deeds for Apartment 1A, Apartment 1D, and the shop downstairs, Block A, Shop 1. I'm also thinking about purchasing a booth again in the hallway behind the shop, but want one on the wall closest to the shop.

The old booth, which was traded along with my 2 shopkeepers a few months ago in order to get the shop, was on the opposite wall.

Now, I'll focus on growing the shop, and when shop is maxed out, I'll get shopkeepers to expand up to the apartments... Doing things in this way will hopefully be a litte better/smarter than the previous way where the booth and shopkeepers were hidden away and there was no presences on the outside of the building like there is with the shop now.. so expansions will go inside of the building, not on the outside going foward (unless you folks with shops next to mine are selling out at the right prices! ;))

It may take me a while and a few deposits here and there, but this will grow to be the best - and possibly eventually the biggest - darn shop in game!!!... because after all OMEGATON WEST HABITAT is the BEST place to Build your future!... It may not look like it now, but you just wait and see!

All you folks wanting to abandon your planet, go ahead. Calypso will continue to grow and you will want to come back someday! ;)

I added some furniture to the new 1D apartment in the Delta Tower last night. It will likely become a display place for blueprints that you can buy off of me when I'm online in person to person sales. The stuff up there will likely not be consignment items... but will be the "library" - i.e. the stuff that has been TTed to me. The price on that stuff is highly negotiable. For folks that are in a lot of consignement deals with me, the price will probably be TT prices, or as close to that as possible! :) For members of my society, that's probably the price as well. For anyone else, the price on those BPs will likely be about 50% below the market value... i.e. for a bp with market value of +1, the stuff in the apartment in person to person sales will be about .50 each! Let's see you beat that price Mr. Auctioneer!!! ;)

Eventually, it'll probably also get a shopkeeper. I don't have the shopkeeper yet, so am not sure if the "library" will go in there or consignment items yet. It'll probably depend on how far I am behind in breaking even on rent payments... If I'm ok on rent because sales are up, it'll likely be consignment so that the crafters that have items with me are getting profits. If I'm behind on sales for the month, there may be a few more things in the shopkeeper that came out of the library. Ultimate goal is to at least break even on monthly rent payments.... that breakeven point also will determine if I keep one, both, or none of the apartments open. Rent in each apt. is 10 ped per month... Rent in the shop is 12 ped per month. If I'm consistently making 32 ped a month or more, I don't mind leaving all three open.

If I'm making less than that, I have to decide if it's ok to leave all three open or not. I will likely pay rent on both apartments and the shop for about a year or year and a half and start tracking that more going fowards to see if I'm breaking even on rent or not. That way at least for a year or so, there will be a huge variety of blueprints in there to view so that you know what you want to buy when I'm online or to just outright buy from the shop downstairs (and booth in a month or two when I have it again)...

Right now, rent's paid on 1D til April and on 1A til June or July so I figure I may as well try to utilize the space.

I'm usually online around 7 PM Central Standard Time, most, but not all week nights, and around 9 AM most Saturdays going fowards... (sign in apt. has wrong office hours since I have not changed it yet, but it will be changed shortly)

I'm usually in the Delta Tower Floor 00 or 01, or down the hill at the auction room when I am online.

Also, I'm fairly certain that I'm going to be buying my old booth back as soon as I get my tax refunds back in... so that will open up a few more slots for selling blueprints or other items. Eventually, I will likely seek the estate broker to max out the upgrade potential on the booth when the booth deed is in my hands again.

IF YOU OWN A BOOTH IN THE DELTA TOWER, AND ARE LOOKING TO SELL IT EVENTUALLY, contact me if you can't find a buyer. I cannot do payments now since I am a bit low on peds due to the new apartment acquisition, the rent payments that will be paid soon, and my old booth payment that will be issued before too long... BUT... In the future, I am looking to continue expanding... also, if I can't afford your booth, and you have no business plan for it, contact me and I might hook you up with some blueprints at TT prices to sell there.

If you own a shop in Delta Tower, I might do likewise.

Lets make this THE PLACE to get Blueprints!!! ;) :)

Crafters, if you have lots of blueprints that you find yourself TTing a lot, I am always looking for more crafters to work with too! :)

Also, if you craft boxes, or handbags, contact me too. I use books inside of boxes to house inventory that's not in the shop or apartments... so occassionally buy more boxes so that I have one seperate container for each crafter that I'm working with.

I saw Mandu's shop on the auction this morning (Delta Tower, 1B). Whoever buys it, if you don't have a business plan, I can hook you up with Blueprints too... I really like the idea of making this, our house, in to Blueprint Heaven! :) ;)

Also... forgot to mention that in 1D, where the "library" will be is where I'll be keeping my own personal books stored - so if you've never seen a blueprint book with a fancy cover, now you know where to go to see them.

The books get new covers as they get more blueprints in them. My Material Textures and Component I books have the highest amount of BPs in them out of all of the books I own, so they have the neatest design on the cover.

However, I have other books up there too. That way you can see the various cover designs on books of that are filled at different levels. The books are there to categorize the library. All the component bps in the apartment will go on the tron tower where the component books are hanging... all the tool bps will go on the shelf where the tools book is located, etc.

I occassionally buy more blueprints to fill my own books further as I go along... so over time, each of the books in there that are on display will get neater designs...

Unfortunately, due to the kinks in the rendering system, if you do visit the apartment, you might have to walk around up there a bit to see everything... As things are now, stuff sitting on shelves is only visible when you are few feet away from the shelf in question... MA should really get that bug fixed sometime soon! Very annoying only seeing half of the stuff in the apartment from any one point of view, lol.

View of the auction house and sea from 1D's balcony is spectacular. The "d" of the Delta Tower is actually sits outside of my balcony there... so yes, I guess this is my "home" in game. ;) :)

New delivery came in this morning. Expect many bps to start being rotated in the shop soon... so if you see stuff you like, go get it while it's there.

Also, the "Lost Library Reading Room" is now open in Apartment 1D of the Delta Tower at Omegaton West Habitat (one floor up from the shop - take televator to floor 01). Reading Room is a place to view blueprints you can buy off of me in person to person sales instead of though the shop. A lot of times, the person to person sales is a lot cheaper than the shop sales because minimum markup in shop is +1.

A second reading room will likely be opened in 1A apartment on the same floor in the near future. L-Quent side boards have already been installed in 1A in anticipation of this expansion.

Now the Lost Library Reading Rooms - Omegaton West Habitat, Delta Tower, Apartments 1A and 1D have a few more pieces of furniture in them, as well as some interesting decorations.

The relaxed woman told me she wanted some company, so now the hallway in 1D is starting to become Statuary Hall. Come and take a peek around.

More blueprints will go on the shelves in the upcoming days.

Also, more blueprints will be rotated out of the Consignment shop sometime later this week since I got that new delivery batch over the weekend.
