Description:
  • Expected: Key-handling should be handled by the focused element or window and then by the main window
  • Actual: It seems kind of random. Sometimes pressing Esc does something in the main window, at other times actively clicking in the main window and pressing Escape closes a window
Steps to Reproduce:
  • press "I" for inventory
  • click in main window
  • press Esc
  • should show main menu, but closes inventory

Description:
  • Expected: Clicking on a chat-tab title and drag&dropping to the left or right should place it before the dropped tab
  • Actual: I don't understand the logic behind it

  • add some chat-tabs
  • click one one chat-tab title
  • drag it left or right
  • drop it

  • Title: Chat: can't use Tab-key to run through channels, stops at next

Description:
  • Expected: While in the input field, pressing Tab loops through the channels in that chat window
  • Actual: Press Tab once goes to the next channel, but then kills the focus of the chat (I think)
Steps to Reproduce:
  • click into chat
  • press Tab (works)
  • press Tab (some Tab-activity in the main window)

Description:
  • Expected: I can move a window as far as the mouse goes to an edge of the window (leaving enough clickable room for further interaction)
  • Actual: Window stops moving as soon as it wouldn't be fully drawn
Steps to Reproduce:
  • press "I" for inventory
  • click the window title
  • move the mouse around

  • Expected: Up-arrow goes to previous page, down-array goes to next page
  • Actual: The other way around (rotating to first/last works fine)

  • click an arrow of an action-bar

  • Expected: PgUp goes to previous page, PgDn goes to next page
  • Actual: The other way around (rotating to first/last works fine)

Note: I know that we can change and fix it manually, it's just the default settings that are wrong.

Description:
  • Same freeze on 2 differents computers at 2 differents places (at home and at work, both 4070ti, 32g, 13600kf and updated drivers)
Steps to Reproduce:

Not positive this is your issue but I posted workarounds in last weeks bug report.

No word on if there fixing this issue.

Description:
  • Expected: Item Link Formatting should remain when clicking off chat before sending a message.
  • Actual: Item Link Formatting is lost if a player clicks off the chat window prior to sending the message.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Paste a message with links into chat.
  2. Click off the chat window.
  3. Observe linked items turn white and become unlinked.

  • Title: cant stop follow avatars
  • Date Found: [27/02/2024]
Description:
  • Expected: to stop follow avatars when using any run interaction
  • Actual: stalking them until restraining order or next server update (or the person tps away)
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. click follow on ur team member
  2. try to get away from it

We are looking into that. Meanwhile, you can use the "Autorun" button or press both mouse buttons at the same time to stop following avatars or interrupt interactions with NPCs, terminals, etc.

Hmm, now you confuse my poor brain :hammer: You are probably perfectly correct if the action bars are seen as pages but I see them as cylinders with a thumb wheel at the end. And when I roll the wheel up the cylinder rotates and next 'sub' action bar appears and vice versa. Replacing the upper arrow with a '+' and the lower with a '-' would maybe be better. I'm old so rewiring my brain would be very difficult. :silly:

I am testing on one of the two computers that had this problem (with a note sticky displayed). I'm waiting to test on the computer I use the most to be sure it works but it looks like it works. And it would be nice to fix this bug. THANKS ! :)

EDIT : "Screen freezes for 0.5 seconds after loot in top left disappears" same here and sometime without. And your solution works for this bug, ty !

  • Title: Cooldown indicator for repeatable missions not updating properly
  • Date Found: long ago...
Description:
  • Expected: The blue or yellow exclamation mark as cooldown indicator over the head of a mission broker with a repeatable mission should update automatically as soon as the mission becomes available again.
  • Actual: The indicator is really quite unreliable. Either status updates are carried out only upon certain interactions in the first place, or they fail silently and often. It looks as if mission availability is checked only once upon login or teleporting to an area (? - not even sure about that) for mission NPCs within a certain range, or upon interacting with the NPC. My memory is hazy if or when was the last time I saw it turn yellow while remaining idle next to one, most of the time it doesn't change until I actually check it even when it still shows blue.
  • Suggestion: It would seem more intelligent to show a proper cooldown timer, since the end time must be known for generating the yes-or-no signal. If possible drift between client and server is an issue, schedule a synchronization shortly before expiry. This was probably requested before. While not related to the current VU, this would be a good opportunity to include it in the cleanup efforts.

Title: Fixed an issue where an action that moves you into range of a target did not work correctly - still broken for account
Date Found: 27/02/2024

Description:

Expected: Right click should move into range of target
Actual: For me - if I am out of range of a terminal - I right click on it, and I now move towards the terminal till I am in range and then stop.
If I equip a gun and am out of range of a mob - I right click on it and i run towards to the mob till it is in range - then auto stop and shoot.

All good - and great that this has been fixed :)

But, on the other PC, my Wife's ava is not doing the same. Right clicking the mouse does nothing.

Steps to Reproduce:

On my Wife's account - Avi is out of range of terminal or mob. Aim on terminal or mob, and press right click on mouse. Nothing happens - expecting to move towards target till in range then stop.
Works on my account on another PC.
This is not an issue for me as long as I only use the R for auto-move key, if I mouse click the icon (arrow with a letter A) now my auto-move to target stops working unless I re-log.

  • Title: Waypoint numbers flipping upside/down
  • Date Found: 2024-02-28
Description:
  • Expected: Numbers staying the same on the radar
  • Actual: Numbers not staying the same on the radar
Steps to Reproduce:
  • Create a waypoint for a deed, pull the claim and the numbers will flip. (I'm pretty sure numbers also flip when a new waypoint, not currently seen on the radar, is introduced by running towards it)
- Do note that they wont flip by just reaching the waypoint, the claim has to get done pulling and they will flip.

Its just one line of code: a delay call in your loot procedure.

c# if you were using threading:
Thread.Sleep(500); // Delays for half a second

Only happens when none of these are present:
1: Sticky Note
2: Progress
3: Tracked Meta
4: Tracked Mission

Programmer had it for testing but forgot to delete it.

  • Expected: [PED Card] keaps it position in inventory like the other deeds all the time.
  • Actual: [PED Card] lose its position in inventory after relogging and is placed on top left.
Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Place your [PED Card] in the inventory somewhere on bottom
  2. Relog
  3. Check where the [PED Cart] is placed now.

It has always reverted to the top left after a relog.
 
New UI but with old bugs. Yeah pedcard never records the position where you left it the last time... But there's more.

Just now got my pedcard increased in value (auction sell) but got no warning from message center.

It's a new skin with the same old bugs, I doubt they even care at all.
 
We are talking about little but annoying things here, that persist for years/decades. Like the revive bug and many others, just to not talk about loot returns and loot waves.

We even test things for them while they make 1.5M/2M $ pure profit every year. And I'm sure they will keep the same attitude as long as the moneys keep coming.
