This thread is for reporting any UI-related bugs and crashes experienced after the release.

To provide feedback, please go to:



While we of course strive to provide smooth and problem-free releases, some issues may still arise after release, even after extensive testing. We hope to address any such issues via patches as quicky as possible after release, and may therefore need your help in identifying them.

Please use the templates below to report any UI-related bugs or crashes you experience after the UI release. All information given in this thread will be forwarded to the UI team, so please make sure to provide as many details as possible so that we can understand how they happen and fix them as quickly as possible.

Bug Report
  • Title: Tool-tip displays on top of right click menu in inventory
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Right click menu should be on top of other messages since it's focused window/menu
  • Actual: Performing right-click on an item and having the mouse stationary will make the tool-tip show on top of the right click menu
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open Inventory
  2. Directly right-click item without first selecting it
  3. Keep mouse stationary
  4. Result: Item Tool-tip shows on top of right click menu
 
Bug Report
  • Title: Text written in chat windows goes out of bounds
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Text and text-scroll should be constrained to chat input field size
  • Actual: Inputing text longer than the chat input field width will make it go out of bounds before rubber-banding back in.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Type random characters in any chat window as long as the string exceeds window width
  2. When reaching the right-side of the window the text will go out of bounds before rubber-banding back in
  3. See result

  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Chat windows should still be visible even when not in focus
  • Actual: Dragging a chat window on the screen and then clicking outside of it will render it invisible
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Create a new chat
  2. Drag it to a separate window onto the screen
  3. Do not type anything
  4. Click outside the window
  5. Notice the chat window has become invisible
  6. Hover mouse over spot where chat window was
  7. Chat window is now visible again.

Bug Report
  • Title: Coordinates not showing for selected TP
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: If a TP is selected from the Locations list the Lon & Lat coordinates in the map window should be displayed regardless of position of cursor on map
  • Actual: Coordinates are not shown until mouse is over the map area and they are shown for current position of cursor not selected location.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open Map
  2. Select a TP from available Locations List
  3. No coordinates showing even if location is selected
 
Bug Report

  • Title: residue not usable when crafting
  • Date Found: [02/21/2024]
Description:

  • Expected:use residue to fill tt on crafted item
  • Actual: can not click to add residue
Steps to Reproduce:

  1. open crafting terminal
  2. click use residue
  3. can not click specific residues and doesd not use when crafting
  4. I wasted 2 clicks of p20 to get this and did not get a full tt p20.

  • Title: Tool Tip for "Navigation" button on radar displays Latency instead of button tool-tip
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Mouse-over tool-tips should display information regarding the item/action that is hovered on.
  • Actual: Tool-tip for "N" (Navigation) button on radar displays Latency information not the "Navigation" tool tip
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Mouse-over the "N" on radar between + and - signs
  2. See result

  • Title: Blank spots in crafting
  • Date Found: 02/21/2024
Description:
  • Expected:
  • Actual: There are blank spots at Symbols tab in crafting

  1. Just craft something

  • Title: Codex Entries untracked cannot be re-tracked
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Tracking & Untracking missions from codex should be possible
  • Actual: If there is an active tracked mission for a mob (Argonaut for example) untracking the mission won't allow you to re-track it
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Have an active tracked mission on a mob in Codex
  2. Untrack the codex entry for said mob
  3. Attempt to re-track mission
  4. Fail miserably

  • Title: Codex Entries - Sort by Rank
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Sorting by rank should sort ranks correctly
  • Actual: Due to way the logic is written you can have the followin sequence in a sorted rank ( 12 , 11 , 10 ,1 , 11)
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Have codex ranks that are both single digit and multiple digits
  2. Try sorting by rank
  3. See result:

Not a bug. Right click "Main", select "Interface settings" and toggle off "Auto fade" (as Killahbee said) if you do not want this function.

  • Title: Zone Icons on radar not vectorized
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Scaling up radar should not result in blurry/pixelated icons.
  • Actual: Due to way the icons are designed (i.e. not vectorized) scaling the radar will result in pixelation on zone icons while still being crisp on Zoom Buttons and Navigation button

  1. Press L
  2. Make radar widget as big as allowed
 
Not a bug. Right click "Main", select "Interface settings" and toggle off "Auto fade" (as Killahbee said) if you do not want this function.
IT FADES TO ZERO... There's one thing to fade it out there's another thing for it to completely go invisible DAFUQ ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!
I can have multiple invisible windows on the screen how is this a "Fade-out" functionality... I get fade-out but not to 0 unless i have the option to set it myself to an arbitrary value

  • Title: HOF Window not showing new UI design
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: HOF should have been updated along-side the other windows in game
  • Actual: Due drastic budget cuts (I presume) HOF window is not showing the new UI
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Press H
  2. Ponder as to why that one's not updated.
 
Bug Report
  • Title: Message center doesn't properly save where you scrolled
  • Date Found: 2/21/2024
Description:
  • Expected: When opening an auction notification for example, it should always start scrolled up to the top, but it doesn't and when exiting the notification, it should go back to where you were scrolled before opening the notification.
  • Actual: It goes by where you were scrolled on the notifications center and if you go into a notification and scroll up and exit, it starts scrolled up at the very top of the notification center.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Go to notifications center
  2. Scroll down to middle or bottom
  3. Open a notification and scroll up to top of notification
  4. Exit notification
 
Bug Report
  • Title: Missing sound when selecting Skill categories
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Sounds should be consistent throught game windows
  • Actual: In the Skill window selecting a category will not trigger the selection sound while in Professions window selecting a category does trigger the sound
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open Skills
  2. Select any category
  3. Open Professions
  4. Select any category
  5. Selecting categories in Skills window does not trigger sound while selecting in Professions does trigger the sound clip
 
Bug Report
  • Title: Missing indicator on re-arranging chat tabs
  • Date Found: 21-Feb-2024
Description:
  • Expected: Dragging a chat tab to re-order present tabs should offer an indicator as to where the tab will go when mouse button is released
  • Actual: Dragging a chat tab to re-order present tabs offers no indicator as to where the tab will be placed when letting go of mouse button
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open multiple chat tabs (preferably more of them)
  2. Try dragging the second tab to a specified position between other tabs..(extra points if you get it first time where you wanted)
  3. See result
 
Bug Report
  • Title: movements in actionbars
  • Date Found: 02/21/2024
Description:
  • Expected: having move forward, backwarda, left, right, turn in action bar. It would wove in chosen order when pressed with mouse.
  • Actual: character does not move if its placed in actionbars. It does however work when you try it in action library
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open actions
  2. try moving with move forward
  3. Move move forward to an action bar.
  4. Try moving with mouse cursor from there.
 
Bug Report
  • Title: Tool bar not updating
  • Date 21/02/24
Description:
  • Expected: When you add/remove an amp from weapon/finder it should show when you mouse over the toolbar
  • Actual: Amp add/removal doesn't update until after the weapon/finder has successfully been used once.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Add/remove amp to weapon or finder
  2. Mouse over the item in toolbar
  3. Does not show updated status
  4. use item
  5. Now it shows the correct updated status of amp/weapon

  • Title: Can't add amp
  • Date Found: 21/02/24
Description:
  • Expected: Drag amp to weapon on toolbar should add the amp
  • Actual: Amp does not get added, you need to add amp in inventory
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Drag amp to weapon in toolbar
  2. Check weapon and see the amp hasn't been added.
 
Bug Report
  • Title: Item cooldowns not reflection on action bars
  • Date Found: [21/02/2024] (changed to reflect common sense date format -.-)
Description:
  • Expected: Action bars should show the correct cooldown duration for items.
  • Actual: Action bars don't show the correct cooldown for some chips, specifically the Arso TWEN edition is approximately only 3 seconds instead of the expected 20 seconds. The weapon is then unusable for the expected duration but no visual reflection of when the item is available again.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Use an arsonistic chip
  2. Observe cooldown is too quick on the actionbar

I can reproduce this but only if i paste text from notepad outside of the game to within the game.
If i paste from within the game the text does wrap like expected.

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature...
