Very Rude & Mean !!!!

can I also say welcome - and can I just add, that not all people in EU are assholes ;) There are a LOT of nice and helpfull guys and girls out there. Unfortunately it's the little pricks that ruins our day ! Just forget and move on :)
 
I think for the most part ... the majority were constructive in the way they responded, and as veteran posters, we can't expect new people to the forum to have a total understanding, or Uber navigational skills right out the gate. I'm sure it took all of us a time to find our comfort zone, and figure out how everything works.

As a sidenote ... everyone's personal experience is unique and valid for them, and while I would venture to say that the majority of us are well versed in the art of "whiners" at this forum, how a person is affected by someone else's behavior ingame is also unique. We can't expect everyone to respond in these instances in the same manner that we would, so I think being constructive and giving advice to new posters in this respect is more warranted than raking them over the coals. You can tell a dozen people a day to f*ck off and be ok with it, or respond in kind to someone who may have said it to you, but that's you, and obviously we are all affected differently by this stuff.

A little kindness goes a long way! :wise:

welcome to EU and EF. Most people I met here and in game are a great bunch, a lot of nice and helpful people, each with their own unique *cough* temper obviously :D

I never accept a private chat or trade request from someone unless I know them or they have asked me first in local chat.

I am sure this has helped me avoid many beggers/armor colorers etc.

That said, there are many more good people in EU than aholes(as mentioned above) so welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay :)
 
Im more interessted in to know where this dic*s, beggers, scammers comes from. How miserable are there lives that makes them come here and begg for money, item ect ect, i mean how can one sink that low and loose the last bit of his/hers pride?

And to the Thread Starter, just ignore pricks like that one, not worth wasting youre time on.

Yeah as the others said there are alot of people like this in EU fact of life same as we have begger IRL we have beggers in VR.

Have some + rep from me to help show there is good people out there.

The magic words here are: "Please stop harassing". Works for me in 95% of cases. Seems like simply articulating what they are doing (this is blatant harassment), makes them stop.

If they still fsck up your experience in EU, screenie them and walk away...

A good one I learnt from an old Soc leader

Either

1) Open up a trade with them and slowly, one by one, add your entire inventory, press confirm, but don't click accept, then go for a coffee or a smoke or something...


2) Open up a trade with them, then go for a coffee or a smoke or something...

They'll soon get bored ;)

I despise 'horizontal violence' Angelchild is an AVA in learning and I think we all have done that at some stage, perhaps learning....not for some!

Nurture your young.

You all cut your teeth on EU knowlege, those who have been critical cut her some slack.

AC's point seems totally valid as a young one....stick yourself in her shoes, imagine what she is submitted to in game!

This does not need to be flamed as naieve and non given constructive comment.

Actualy i find this part idi*ts doing quite funny.
They phail at begging so they start flame and obviously phail again... to my amusement :D .

I wonder how does it feel to be a sore looser and failing on everything they do... . Such an attitude will bring them "far"...:scratch2:
 
some people are nice ;) have meet alot of people that pked me in pvp3 and gave me bac kthe loot just for fun of it ;)

And just ignore such morons. Unfortunately such ppl are in game too, but usually they stay for short time only. Probably he will be out within few days.
And compare them to some of your soc mates, I know u have some cool ppl there ;P

That happened quite a lot to me as well - but since I stay outta real n00b areas and hunt scipulors, hogglos and aurli/kreltin - its kinda reduced these days...

2-3 mths ago I found a n00b that was placed on CP by mistake after a server crash, being unable to go down through the TP since it costed him.. After a decent day hunting I felt mercy for him and gave him 10ped, and saw him leave through the televator tho :)

Only similar is ending back at CND after flying down issue (or up)
 
Yes, it is possible to finish on CP after server crash. Support case usually helps then. Didn't happen to me so far, but I've heard about such situations.

I Just wanted to add that Its not the cussing that offend me its that fact that people get rude when you tell them NO if i can work for my money why can't they so weather you agree or dont agree with what i have to say or think then just stay off my thread Thank You.
