What do does taming do?

Hi, i was wandering what taming is used for, does it mean a mob will listen to u?

Nobody knows as it hasn't been unlocked yet. At least as far as I know, it hasn't been. We surmise that it will allow you some kind of limited (I'm sure) control over mobs.

I know that you can get the Animal Tame skill, but are you able to tame animals now? And what does it do?

Hi! At the time being the animal tame skill is not really useful since the feature of taming animals has yet not been implemented. We cannot tell you exactely when this will be, but it is still in planning for a future release.
