Ok, we're all addicts... We spend ridicolous amounts of money on PE, just to get that one piece of armour, that one weapon in that goddamn auction, or you blow it all on the biggest gun you got in your arsenal... We love our Avartar, we have spent long hours just skilling not getting anything back for it except the message "you have reached a new level in xxxxxxx"... how exciting. To us PE is the best game in the world, our community is the most friendly.... we are the champions....

Now back off for a second I thought to myself... what actually makes PE different from other games. I.e. why is it really the best game for you ???
Be goddamn honnest about it ...

As for myself, I don't think PE is much better than other MMORPGs, but it costs more to play ... why am I playing then? Cos I'm an addict I suppose, fascinated by the above mentionned ... no other reason ... ;)

u think too much lol :D , i dont know about any 1 else but i know my reasons for playing, because it has alot of ties to real life, its not like being excluded completely from your game as it has a real exchange and u can deposit or withdrawl money, it also benefits by the fact that it is more expensive because it filters out a lot of people that want to ruin your for and gaming experiance.

i mean through this game i have made some very good friends who i speak with nearly every day i can whether its on msn skype in game or pm's through EF.

guaranteed that u go on any other MMORPG forum and u wont find a community like this, with more mature ppl who all have some thing to add to the game, than 13 year olds making immature statements that could hurt some 1s feelings.

ohh yeah and then there is an addiction that wont let u go but i guess we all know about that lol.

Because PE cost more monney compared to mmorpgs it filter out a lot of young ages people. I see in Pe almost no flamming or imature kiddie attacks simply because the 12 year old über cs 1337 roxxor can not afford this mod ml-35 to pwn us all *g*

The avatars looks good compared to mmorpgs and you have a great freedom to costumize them. I logg in PE because there is no other decent game with a fps based pvp system, mmorpg charackter and a economy. When a nice sience fiction game comes out what offer me this i will leave pe.

But as it seems i will stay in pe for manny manny years :D (just pointing to failed games like neocron or face of mankind)

To me PE is something special because of the 'real money' concept.
Not that I expect to make money in PE... Far from that. :D (I wish though)

It simply keeps the game interesting and exiting that every move you make has real consequences, and even noob items doesn't lose their importance. Even though you've played for a long time and have deposited a lot of money, wool and Goblin Armor are still worth a few peds.

I like how I regret things I do when I'm not sober. Not that I don't regret them with other games, but in PE I regret them more ;) I also like the community.

I think the reason why this game affects everybody more than regular games is simply because it's similar to a casino. You have a shot at a biggie. And there will be people who use a traditional playing style (i.e. bet on black), and those who go for the long shots. And in this casino I can moon people without being thrown out...

Ah...the true spirit of a holy man :)

I also like the FPS type action. It not just click and walk away combat. You have to actively participate, or die :) I also like paying only when I want to. If I'm busy IRL for a week or so...no problem...I can continue where I left off, when I return. I also think the community is prett awesome. Even tho I butt heads with some, it's still a mature encounter (ususally :) )

Thanks
Az
