By standard you (L) armor has 100 000 more in durability so it's decay is lower then the non-(L) armor of same class, now if you count in MU most (L) with 120% or lower MU have lower decay even with MU counted in (the % needs to be lower for parts with low tt value) on the (L) parts only. Now non-(L) parts MU cost is lower the more you actualy use the armor and may keep a MU value for later resell. The direct cost of gathering a high end armor in (L) seems lower then in non-(L). As other have stated (L) dont lose effect by decay, non-(L) do but then (L) break and non-(L) can be repaired. Last we have the litle detail that (L) armor dont decay by equiping, while non-(L) decay 0.01 ped each time.
So as I see it if your an eco being you see good in (L) if you can find it cheap or if you are buying it as clothing. If you trying out high end play, (L) is lower cost just for trying it out.
But then a non-(L) can be seen as an investment and the more one uses it the lower has ones MU cost actualy been.
Yes all thats true BUT...The question is. How do you play EU? Are you an aggesive player? Or do you play casual? Do you hunt when u mine?
See for me and my soc we are very aggresive in hunting and we hunt big. Using any armor with a L just wont last long. That can get expensive. Also looking for a L Tiger M or F is hard to find.
Yes i do know some people can not depo i do understand this. If thats the case then look for a profession that you wont need heave armor
also remember some people Eco is different then others
