Whats wrong whit the atitude in EU?

Why do so many people complain.

Im geting sick and tired of all the naging and complaining, isnt there anybody just having fun?

All i hear is: MA are ripping me of, Markups to high, skilling is to slow, Mentors suck, Skammers everywher, Oh im so adicted, I deposit my a** of and get nothing, Loot is too bad, mining is no good, Crafting is like throving youre peds away and so on.

You can just read one tread here on EF and im sure you will find some one in any tread you open complaining. Why are they still playing, if EU sucks in every singel way. If i was so unhappy whit EU i sure would stop, but thats just me.

Can some one explain why there are so many complaing persons i cant figure it out. It supose to be a entertainment right?

And if you just like EU you can tell me why, i allready know why all the others dont like EU, so you dont have to tell me that. Just tell me why you LIKE it.

I think that we are experiencing a little low right now, but it's sure to come back up!

There are several possible reasons for loot being bad for people:
1) The economy overall in the world is bad right now (from what I gather).
2) MA is saving up the lootpool for all the 100s (maybe 1000s) of new items they will have to drop when space is implemented.
3) CryEngine costs a sh*tload.
4) Combination of all.


Now quit whining, play another game for 2-3 days and then log right back on in EU thats what I do when I get poor ingame

To be honest most people complaining have goo reasons for it.
Really i don't see why some people complain got to agree with you there.

Basically I can explain my view:
1. I joined this service where I pay to have fun
2. The service is getting adjusted while my money is still in there and I still pay
3. They tune everything so bad, getting worse every time with an update
4. Money you pay to have fun, isn't fun anymore due to the service changing
5. You paid for a service which WAS good, no complaints, but now? It sucks and my money is still floating around somewhere, which gives me every right to complain about it because I paid for it, shitloads.

I'm sure there are many other people like this and I'm sure there are more people that paid even more than me and get nothing in return.
To be honest, I'm happy some people are actually willing to open their mouths and TRY to make the people that "just accept it and love getting crap for their money" see that this is not supposed to happen.
Example:
If I rent a painter in RL for my house, I tell him to make it blue, I pay him.
Next day I get there it's nice and blue.
1 Week after, he painted it red.
WTF?!

That's all there is to say from my point of view.
You can shut your eyes and pretend everything is ok or you can try the reasonable approach and speak up for whatever you are supposed to be entitled to. Don't get me wrong I don't mind paying for fun but there are limits and too many people have reached it and more and more will reach it every month.

I never started with te attention to get rich or something.
I just play EU for fun a yeah wasted a lot of ped to stupid things,
but hey iám having FUN I really think ppl taking this game to serious.

I ask sometimes in the soc chat for ppl to go to the Rig.

You cant win a thing out there, WRONG great fun and meeting other great ppl

Just a thought: Stop complaining about what is wrong and i loose so much ped and so on, try the time spend to complaining to having fun I know it helps

There is lots of whining, granted.

But there are also quite a few constructive posts highlighting issues and comparing notes. This is very useful for both players and the developers (that do read this forum) in order to improve things.

If I send in a support case reporting excessive lag since VU9.0 MA just replies with the usual "its your computer/ISP/whatever's fault nothing we can do about it". However if 100 other people from across the globe report the very same issues, then perhaps it might be a game-server problem rather than a local one?

Comparing notes about poor loot has shown us in the past that some items stopped dropping and in a few cases MA readjusted the drop-tables and a few of those items (for example hides) resumed dropping. Several people noted less guns lately, and lo and behold: MA hand them out as prizes for the RX event.

If people care about the environment they play in, they'll shout out when they perceive a problem, and in many cases this is a good thing. Venting frustration from time to time is also useful for maintaining a healthy mind and relieving some of the stress and angst (think of it as a safety valve for letting out steam to prevent explosive outbursts)

EU is something fun that people do because they choose to .. nobody makes them deposit their money .. nobody makes them continue to play .. they do it because they love it.

We just bitch when MA interupts our EU experience with 10-50% returns

Most of the people says "I don't care about profit, I came here to have fun", but when it comes to polls like "What did attract you to EU?" or "I love EU because..." (both with an option 'RCE' among others) or "Would you play if there wasn't RCE?" the results proves that the main driving motive in EU is money, even if the most people won't admit it even to themselves. No wonder they start whining when they lose the money.

Why are they still playing, if EU sucks in every singel way. If i was so unhappy whit EU i sure would stop, but thats just me.

People are addicted and despite of anything want to believe that their luck is just around the corner. And, after all, there are no alternatives with RCE (don't talk about RL).

I personally don't whine on EF (at least I'm trying ), but it's not because I'm satisfied with everything, but because I know that my whine won't change anything. I understand that all that happen with EU economy isn't casual - it has the plan, thus fighting against it is like trying to stop a train with a piss spurt.

It is human nature to say something when one feels or thinks that something is not right. It is human nature to see if any others share in their assessment of a certain situation. With that being accepted as a ‘Fact of Life’, then one must concluded that if a large number of people complain, then there may well be a problem.

What strikes me as odd, and has for over 4 years now, is that when people post anything that could be seen as negative; a group of people immediately jump the person that is saying, “ah, this bad thing happen to me” and one of their first responses are “its just your bad luck”, “if you don’t like it get out”, or my favorite one, “You are Just A WHINNER!!!”

So, in response to the question, why do people complain? That is perhaps not the correct question, perhaps the correct question, is why do people here go out of their way to attack someone that complains?

EF is a good place to find info and comparinng notes, and if something is wrong it might even be a good way to get that fixed i know that. The ones who responded to my question are not the ones i have seen on EF and know as whiners.

When did this ever become a game. Take a look at the EULA then tell me if you think this is a "game" anymore. MA clearly states this is not a game! I take the point of view that this is just a virtual extension of my real life. I put money in to try to invest in my skills which I would think would make me better at doing the things I enjoy in this Virtual Universe and like life it takes along time to master those skills. Some people goto extreems trying to hit it big and they fail. Thats life. We as people on the whole do that everyday.
Only a few will make it big in this "Game"<-Not a Game. When you mix in real life money with the misconception that this is a "Game" you are always going to be unhappy with the results. It has been said before and I will state it again there are ways to increase your chances at wining but in the long run you are just gambling plain and simple. Everytime you press the make button on that machine or drop a bomb as you trek across the lands YOU ARE GAMBLING at a chance to hit it big.
Thats why some people always complain. They were misled into believing this is a game by both MA (think about it why would MA put what they did in the EULA instead of making you understand in plain english what this is, which in my opinion is the biggest and most technically advanced Casino) and all the other mmorpg sites out there. You are gambling and if you don't realize that fact, then you will always be unhappy with the results.

Sounds like you think that everyone objecting against current state-as-is are emotionally defective.

I understand that shutting off the complainers (this word describes the situation better imho) will give you (as a mall owner) a better hope of drawing in new unsuspecting users (because of a spotless, hyped product liked by everyone, at least on the user forums) so you have it easier to get filthy rich quick through taxing the trades by which the new users get their shiny, overpriced gear - hence i leave it with this statement.

Most of the posts on EF are useful, informational, story sharing, socializing, and just plain old fun.
I would say whining about loot threads is less than 10% of ALL the threads here.
You CHOOSE to read the threads you do .. if you want to see less whining .. pick different threads. Seems pretty simple to me.

IMO the typical "whining" threads tend to be people reaffirming their own current position in EU by seeing if there are others who are basically in the same boat. As dynamic as EU is there will always be people in down cycles and those in up cycles so its easy to get your band of "loot is bad" chest beaters and gripe about EU. Sometimes it makes people feel better to know they are not alone in their loss and others are having just as crappy of an experience.

Now I have to say I see a lot of threads that could be run through the muck of whining that turn quite constructive and constructive posts that no matter what can't seem to get away from the whining.

Everyone is in control of how they feel about EU at any given time. No matter what there will always be complainers and whiners. They could drop 100 MOD faps tomorrow and I guarantee there will be numerous complaint threads and numerous complaint threads about the initial complaint threads.

So if you are enjoying EU then enjoy EU and interject those feelings when and where you feel it necessary in EF or a Blog or some other forum.

Take the good with the bad in EF and EU and give praise and constructive criticism when its due.

Yes its true a lot off ppl whine and complaining bit it is also true that MA does a lot off nerf. all all time....
I complain to and i can easy write down about 200- 300 nerf. what MA had done under the 2 years i have been here and that i dont like because when we geting a new VU my first thought is allways "what has MA nerf. now ?" but i allways sey that the concept is great and that i love the game and i have meet a lot off good ppl here and that MA has improved the grapich in the game.

And as you see i am a hard player in here on my way to get 300k in skill and in a few weeks i would also have some good gear and yes i spent much time here i would ever do that if i did not like the game but once agen MA has done a loooooooot nerfs. and thats true.
