Good job Dante, keep it up!

I can't believe this guy invents the worst scientific test ever, then posts it in basically a game review section, and then cites that review on Wiki.

I would make a wiki for his avatar and cite tons of crazy shit I made up, if I knew how to make a wiki lol

Wikipedia

"according to a review posted on Yelp about the Vienna hot-dog stand on Clark street in Chicago, Entropia User Diablo DiabloP Minotaur has 200 squirrels in his rectum, and he once sold his nipples to buy gas."

Perfect, thanks for the links. Good to hear about the official warning.

Is there any way of raising the issue to the Wikipedia overlords so they can shut his IP down for continually vandalizing a page? We all know his calculations are terribly inaccurate.

Wikipedia overlords don't give a crap if anything on their page is true or not.

On Wikipedia, it doesn't matter if something is accurate or not. All what matters is whether it's properly sourced.

That's why, if you want this to stop, you need to raise a WP:NOR concern using Wikipedia:No original research/Noticeboard. Possibly also this can be reported as an edit war or non-WP:NPOV, but I'm not sure. Having a life precludes one from studying Wikipedia policies in detail. :)

That said, I'm not very optimistic about all this. Wikipedia has a huge pile of well-intended, elaborate rules and policies... and at the end of the day, the biggest troll with most spare time on his hands always wins. :D

Did some research of my own, using some mod powers + wiki-info + basic net tools.

I can confirm that the person working so hard to place those figures on Wiki is the same person that made that silly poll and thread to begin with.

I can only assume, based on checking some of their posts that this is an intentional attack on MA in an attempt to get them to reveal their "real" player base counts. Even after folks revealed other more accurate player base counts (ET global counts, max folks of PCF, etc.) he still refused to consider any other number than what he made through his highly flawed system.

As such, he's been, shall we say, disinvited from here. However, I have no powers at Wiki. But I have reported their actions (as a edit war) there as well.

However, I would suggest others who also have active wiki accounts use the proper channels as well to report the problem.
