Just posting this one as requested, when support team for Eudoria was bugged and I got a global that displayed just in my name, even though I was team leader and in team.

I'm sorry to have to say this but it doesn't have the time stamp so i dont think it should count but that's just what i think.

Except the fact that 3 judges saw this global during the match in Lee's name, and commented upon it. There was a crash that stuffed up the teams a bit.

The Points scoring global is good in my book :)

Is that allowed tho? I recall last year for our team when Jimmy Chief got disconnected, came back and globalled before he managed to be re-added to the main team, that global was disallowed.

The difference is, as you said, Jimmy Chief was not in the team!

All Hunters can score globals in their own names if de-teamed but are urged to re-team as soon as possible. If Jimmy Chief had a global not scored last year I can only imagine it was missed or not legitimate for another reason.

You are right Kitty, no one in our team was actually 'in charge' of taking any screenshots, and I admit at the time it didn't occur to me, actually only occurred a few minutes later to screenie it at all. But the minute it happened myself and others were in direct contact with Hurrikane, and some judges pmed me as well because they saw the global at the time and knew I was suppossed to be with Team Eudoria.

Cat, as Lorfat said, the problem was not that I needed to re team, I never left the team, as shown by the little star on my name, it was instead some kind of bug in the game at that time, along with serious loot lag and several other things.

I see Hurrikane has posted about this, and I appreciate the judges being helpful in this situation, if it had not been 'live' and me in contact with the judges at the time I would in all fairness expect it to be disallowed possibly, but in general they do a really good job and try to be flexible with everyone within reason because lots of stuff happens during WoF that none of us has much control over.

I apologise profusely for the lapse in supervision. I will let this Score stand unless there are objections, everything looks legitimate. Thanks for carrying on in a professional manner.

I could have said I crashed, but after being up from silly-o-clock the day before ( I meant to get up late to start the WoF but then had to go out and fix my computer:( I simply passed out:))

Next Stage I will delegate more and ensure this does not happen again.

i know its sorted, but just to mention that we had a similar situation. Entropia Most Wanted got a Thorifoid global ( so wrong anyway) which showed up as his, when he was in team with England Support. about that time we noticed no loot messages in chat either, something i note is being said in Lee's screenie.

something to think about in future rounds, make sure to get global screenies and alert someone if it happens.
