Hi, the WPS is into it's second Monthly run. M2S Legends took the first prize in our inaugaural Contest, which they chose to share with Consortium's close second. Skillin' Villains were 3rd. More teams are expected this month though; not in the least because J Boy's working on a new WPS banner:)

Prizes stay the same,
the Moblist has changed;
the need to
Global Right
and
Global High
prevails.​

I shall be starting/stopping each Monthly WPS hunt on a Tuesday, after and including this one. Moblists will change each time.

Event Start: 12:00, 20/05/08.

Event End: 12:00, 17/06/08.

So as before, hunt the Moblist, get your 5 best scores and send them in to the "Post WPS Globals HERE" thread.

Yes, the Rules apply to each Month's Run.... so new Moblist, new Teams, as according to the Team Rules.

...of course any team can stay the same if they choose as well.

OK, cool, thanks for clarifying. I've got some more organising to do... need to find someone to go look for Phasm Olds for one thing :D

Btw, I think that we should make the next round of WPS have a 48 hour time limit on waiting to submit entries. Otherwise, we'll continue to wait until the last day to post our screenshots for the sake of keeping the opposition somewhat blind to our loots (although entropiatracker does help).

lol ffs, I went to edit one of my statements at the bottom of my team's post with the screenshots just now and realized it added the "edited time/date". The post was made with the correct screenshots prior to the time and date requested. I just wanted to included some discussion of the rules regarding screenshot posting.

I really do think Hurrikane should add a rule to force players to post their screenshots within 48 hours of obtaining them. The last 2 days should be posted by the end time of course.

I just knew I should've posted something under our screenshots when I got up this morning and came to check they were posted :laugh:

Hopefully, with Hurri being the great judge he is, he will have checked the thread before the deadline and seen what time it was posted ;)

Agree with your rule suggestion too btw, think it's a good and fair idea
 
Hi to all involved in this tumultuous round of the WPS. I am examining the submissions tonight and deciding the winners; I'd just like to thank all who have taken part this month, it has been good to see all the WPS globals in chat as I try to skill my avatar to a worthwhile standard:)

...and the WINNERS are...

WPS Run 2 has ended;

The results are as follows:

WPS Sex on Ice:
1st place with 1291!

1500 PED goes to this plucky 2-man team of have-a-go hunters.:)))

WPS Consortium:
2nd place with 1110!

600 PED for Consortium who so nearly claimed 1st there...

WPS Stoik & Skam: 3rd place with 802!

400 PED for the Scandinavian double-act:)



I will be in-game on Thursday and Friday night, by which time I should have picked up the prize money and will be able to dish it out:)

Please post here with likely evening times for those days or any other time I could meet you; Fort Fury TP will be the meeting place.

Thanks to all who took part in Run 2.

Please also look at WPS Run 3; new moblist, new month:)

Hi to the 3 winning teams of Run 2: I've yet to recieve word from your members as to when a good time to meet in-game and award prize money will be... but if you find it easier to maybe auction something tiny for 2500 Ped (etc), PM me anyhow:)
