So, we've had a few quiet days...

I'm gonna assume people have been busy...

I can't beleive that Maffoid Challenge's HoF scared them away...

Surely not...

Well, it's the weekend now...

All that spare time set aside for killing...

Obviously you'll all be at FoF Xi from 5 til 11 on Saturday...

But that still leaves loads of time...

Or aint you got the Gumption?

So as it stands it will go like this....

Maffoid Challenge look set to win 1500 peds to add to the 500 peds I still have in my storage for you. PLEASE get in touch b4 I spend it ;)

Consortium are firmly in second and will scoop 600 peds

And currently WoF England 2009 hold the 400 ped spot...

BUT...

The TDO were kind enough to inform me that there is no way in Hell they're gonna allow themselves to be beaten by the English, so they will be making a bid to improve their score very shortly...

Maffoid Challenge's global is a scary prospect I know, but Run 5 ain't over yet.

I told you before, the Fat Lady does what I tell her... ;)

It's beginning to look like that's all we'll see for this month.

I suspect that Maffoid Challenge's Huge HoF has scared away the competition for the 1500 peds first prize.

There are still 600 and 400 peds to claim for 2nd and 3rd places...

Still all to play for...

Why do I have the feeling that the TDO are planning an 11th hour coup, sweeping in from last place to steal a podium slot...?

Perhaps because I know them too well.., We shall see...



Run 6 is going to feature an interesting change...

Could alter things Dramatically...

Keep the dial tuned right here folks...​

Perhaps a cap on points for big loots for the next one? Chasing Consortium's 800ish pedder is one thing, but there was no real point in chasing a 20k pedder.

And yeah, Chopper once Maffoid got that 20k(and VERY well done to them), kinda killed the prospect of going for glory for the rest.

Just a week or more later, after Myne Ah's 20k hof, there was a 40k hof, on HOGGLO TUNDRA, outback #34..i wanted to WPS hunt that vary time..but could not muster the team together. That would have been a sweet victory for sure. We "Consortium", never stoped trying..just did not hit any bigger then we had. Splendid fun, rdy for season (6), see you all tonight.:wtg:

I've been trying to think of a way to do something like that, but it's not easy. It would seem harsh, for example, if I set a points cap at, say 1000 points, and then a 10k HoF was beaten by two 1k HoFs...

If you can think of a way to make it work, I'd be happy to hear it.

I'll almost certainly leave the points system as it is for the next Run. I'm fairly sure that this situation is gonna prove uncommon...

There is a change coming though...

It will more than likely mean that more than 4 will be wrestling for 3 ped winning places...

Feel free to be intrigued and excited..

Im inclined to agree that the rule should be left as is. Anyone who manages to pull a monster hof like that deserves to win!
