I feel Im getting RIPPED OFF Iv depoed thousands of USD and got F@#K all to show for it WTF. I use guns with SIB bonus and get F$%k all skills WTF. Iv had 8 misses ina row on a gun iv maxed (opalo) WTF.
ok firstly...
The single most important effort a hunter can make in becoming more efficient in his or her hunting activities is to always use weapons which are “maxed” -- weapons with which your avatar has 10.0 Hit Ability. The importance of this cannot be stressed strongly enough.
This means do NOT use weapons that you're still getting SIB on. In fact unless you are like profession level 100 in hit and dmg you should only be using limited weapons.
Question #1 - How many shots have you had in a row without missing? Kinda funny how people think a "maxed out" gun means 100% hit rate when that's not the case and when they get 30 shots in a row without a miss they don't even give it a second though but miss a few times in a row and MY GOD IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!
If you look at your total average over 1000 - 10,000 shots you'll see your miss rate isn't that bad.
Question #2 - What are you hunting? Do you need to use your fap several times during each kill? If so, you have no business hunting that mob for any length of time.
Question #3 - What armor are you using? Are you using an armor set that is efficient for the mob you're hunting or are you just running out there hunting everything with the same ghost/shogun set? Only use armor sets that protect against the damage type the mob does. If you've got a total of 150 protection towards damage types the mob doesn't even do you're losing a TON in decay costs. Min decay on any armor piece is the total value of all protection types / 100.
Question #4 - A follow up question to #2... what is the HP of the mob you are killing. The mobs total HP and regen rate directly related to your average return and chance to global. IE kill 1000 snables - you've be lucky to global once. Kill 1000 Levi oh I think you'll global a few times.
Question #5 - What is you float? Meaning how many peds are on your card at any one point. Are you going out with 100 - 200 ped in ammo an TTing all your oils and such and starting over? You need to be able to save 1000 peds of each oils and sell at markup to help stretch your peds further. A minimum float of 5000 - 10,000ped is a good start.
Question #6 - What's been your overall strategy to profit while hunting? Have you been trying different things or just throwing peds at doing the same thing expecting different results?
(you know doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is the definition of insanity?)
Question #7 - Do you have a secondary profession to offset your losses? IE beauty skills, trading, coloring...etc?
All I'm saying is maybe it's not Entropia that needs to change - it's your strategy.
You need to take a break, frustration clouds judgement, when you're on tilt like this you're more likely to make bad decisions and lose peds.
