To answer your query, no, being an LA owner myself i wouldnt ever have rejoiced if that had happened. The simple answer is that it wont happen. At least i dont know an LA owner who would sell for less then previously he had in mind. I do know quite a few of them.

While i dont see the reason for the -ve rep, but i am sure you had your reasons. I shall not be returning the favour though. Wish you the best and i hope you see my point here.

I really don't see land areas as a capital growth investment. Their value is in their ability to generate revenue for the owner. If you are purchasing a land area it should be with getting an x% return on the investment year after year. And if you are getting a decent return why would you want to sell?

Its not the sale price of Medusa that will hurt land area values, its the ongoing lack of DNA.
 
seriously tho, wonder what akoz is thinking. im sure he personally had 300k ped fluid. Does he refund the investors cash and say its mine. Or was the event we saw part of the plan?

If Qetesh publicly asked for investors I dont think he would then kick them all out even if he did have the cash on hand. Its not fair and a deal is a deal. This was all part of the plan & team Medusa Alliance prevailed :).

part of what plan.. what is the point of it. he did have loads of money yes, and we still were going to bid sky high all together but it didnt happened.in last minut i was saying "its comming !!! one million bid ? 2 million bid ?"
and then we just won o_O, that for sure was a killer.
There were no hidden things, no mistery, our team rocked purely and simply and i guess it scared some people this thread already or not, but today or last year it's the same, people can make team, people gotta trust each other on some extent when not able to provide collateral, but the simple truth is, it's all done fair from him from me from all other investors in here.and we won.
in the end everyone is fair and Qetesh or Akoz is fair btw.
And everyone will get a share relative to initial investment, the cash flow we had and the final price we got it for,
no one is here for a quick buck either as i saw.

well congrats again, if thats the case you guys really won, im just saying like irl when lots of money is involved things can get sticky really fast.
 
Grats too all involved in the investment group. You guys got a KILLER deal.

Im shocked it sold for that cheap. FPC was stupid for not setting a 1 mill starting bid, they could have easily gotten that. 1 mill start and a 3 mill buyout and they likely would have gotten the buyout.

I said in another thread the days of getting a treasure island for 250k or a cnd(now foma) for 1 million are long gone. I guess i couldn't have been more wrong on that.

As far as the shares for the people in the group. Id hope that they get a equal share to their percentage of money they were willing to invest. If they dont, i hope someone complains loudly so the community can know it.

Obviously, if everyone is fair.. that includes shares too.. and I am sure if there is a problem, even hidden on some website no one know about out of here, it would be known fast...
As i already said in my post, shares are equal to investment made vs maximum cash flow vs final price of medusa.
It was for sure a surprise, and a very choking one, we were all ready to go way higher than that.
actually alone i had 150% of final price aswell. (x1.5 for the wonders)

LOL to hidden dealings. Everything was made public. I too am kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on getting in in the investment side of it.

Congrats to those involved. I am sure with the low price paid you all will take some of that extra ped and put it to making the land areas VIABLE! and im sure you'll still have peds left over. GL!
 
Well, obviously we now all know what qetesh was up to bidding against himself.

It was a hidden signal to other would be investors of the amount he could bid and it scared them off. :laugh:

But, more seriously, Congratulations to all of you, I was so very close to giving my $2K towards investment and then didn't.

Do this in any other stock market or IRL auction and all goes to jail, here probably FPC will find or cannot find something against ToU to ban you all . Come on, you hurts my inteligence or yours if you act like you don't understand. So overall I said Gratz for result not for tools and that's a personal opinion.

Doing what ? building a team and bidding ? i dont see relation at all but I am too stupid i agree.

U do know that its simply an auction, with people gatheting money together in a system that says "all trade are finals" and risky in itself unless u can have collateral aswell but still requiring trust and many links to make right, to "hope to bid and have a chance at it" ?

U do know that last year pornstar or us already did the same for CP ?
that its not first time for many things in game and that its comon things in real world too ?

That there is things like efund etc to say few things making people join together and ultimately meaning they buy together things?

That many people buy stuff together ?

And for sure speculating medusa with all new planets and some factors, is not as easy as speculating crystal palace.. so much easy that one too.

I am still wondering what is the hidden things and why it's wrong what u are saying, so maybe i can evolve too.

I said u gratz for the result ,you all made history with this purchase and maby a revolution in way will auction FPC or other plantes the next lands, and yes was made before but now it's the first time when the result hurts the seller wich it;s one of game constructor and if this money they plan to use for next development and/or advertising

DONT TRY THIS AT HOME ! ,or in translate any agreement with any other bider/market players for biding or quit biding or paying them to not biding it;s agains any law in any IRL market institution. i still dont get your point. did someone else than qetesh in our team bidded? did we paid people not to bid ?

It only hurt mindark because nobody decided to bid and because they left 1 ped start bid.
still not our fault, nobody could know what we had or didnt had, it was hidden informations too and personnaly i thought we would be short by a bit to win too, nobody would think that no one would show up.
So its all about speculation and what u can do or not do ,no ps was here no deathifier rising or a "insert random name here" and a Buzz too.but yea.. its not cp.. its some random piece of land hard to estimate more than all other i guess.

Hopefully FPC starts doing some advertising & roadshows to make future bids more competitive.

For now, investment alliances is the way to go.

Too bad if it hurts FPC/MA, they only have themselves to blame for their lack of effort put in.

They will probably just take it out of this seasons loot,

Or do their usual, a few big drops over time and take take take, nothing new :)
 
My congratulations to the buyers.


MA should start doing proper balancing and bug corrections before FPC dare to complain with the price they got.
(The new planets did so much to bring it down in this matter :mad: ...)

The next cheapest bid was $20,000. They spent $30,000 to send a msg to the previous bid that they weren't messing around.

And squall? Really? Nobody was here to make a quick buck? Why invest if you dont want to profit? haha dont kid yourself! ;)
 
BTW, i just looted a Hydraulic Manifold for that Hangar you guys just bought. And i hear you guys were gonna bid @ least 1.5x the ammt you bought Medusa's Head for so i think it only seems fair to start the bid at $45,000. You understand right? :laugh: :wtg:
