I won't speak for NEVERDIE , but as an observer it fits the same pattern he struggled with developing ROCKTROPIA , while dealing with MA's ability to innovate.

SC and Eve has not neglected space for 10 years... that is the main diffrance.

the player base is vastly different as well, we all could be playing those games if that is the type of game we wanted to play. we choose to be here. looking for ways to make this, become something we already choose not not play, seems counterproductive to the established player base.

I would happily pay 20 bucks a month to completely remove pvp from space, I wouldn't at all be interested in participating or supporting anything that lead with making pirating our fellow citizens seem like a positive thing.

TBH makes sense, the grand opening in the middle of the MM is not really the best idea.

Well also keep in mind they usually take the first two weeks of January off and start working at the 15th or so.
So if they did release a big update in late december and it breaks... it would be weeks before anyone can patch it if it's a really bad bug that broke everything kind of thing.
