So, if everybody started such a diary, I think I should make no exception.
First, a few words of myself.
25 years, living in Romania, came in the PE universe to make some money.
I work for a gambling company, more exactly I'm a programmer and I develop server side gambling games for a company located in Great Britain.
With the believe that PE is nothing more than a gambling game, I strive to find the secrets and the math behind.
Right now, I'm working on two personal projects, a Neomap clone (with Amethera support), and a virtual Shopkeeper. The Neomap clone has priority.
Regarding the game, I've tryied to check some things in the last few days.
1.
Someone mentioned that axe fishing on young rippersnappers is an excelent skill gainer. Tested that, and found out that young, olds and provider gives a decent number of skills, but most of the skills come from the "mature".
The axe skilling on Cornundacauda doesn't seem to be a big skill deal just like as with rippersnappers. Don't know why. But blasting them to pieces with my Maddox IV triggers a skill avalanche in my message window.
2.
Went on a snable young hunting with a Foxtrot ME.
I was hopping to see that loot is linked to the ammount of ammo&decay invested to kill the mob. That was not the case. The snables looted very poor.
After 50 mobs, did the maths and the results was: 6.5 PEC/killed snable.
Kinda hard to profit on the little bastards unless you manage to kill them with less than 6.5 pec invested in ammo or decay.
The regular snable male young looted 12-14 pec (tt loot value), few looted 2-5 pec and another few of them looted 43-45 pec. Most of them looted nada.
I'm back to the original idea. Damage/PEC does matter. Whatever that means
3.
Bored and frustrated by RipperSnappers I did a quick before bed a 4 axe hunt N of Argus on Cornundacauda.
Meet there an uber with 34 agility and 31 Strength that called me a noob, and asked me politely to die. He had a nice sexy fancy yellow hat that impressed me. He killstealed some of my Cornundacaudas with his Katsuchi Honor. I was kinda hopeless there with the Axe 1x0...
Yeah, I thought the same. So I showed him what a long range rifle can do before his sword could reach the mobs around.
It was pretty fun watching him running hopeless from mob to mob and swearing at me.
And my medium cell finished, so I was forced to switch to the Maddox IV to continue the fun. And the biggest fun part came when 7 cornundacauda spawned around us, the dude run at a mob, I depleted 3 shots with the Maddox IV tagging it my mob, he run to another one and I tagged this one as well... and in the end, I was running in the circle with 7 cornundacauda after me. The dude said something like: "Now you are going to die."... but it was not the case.
Finally, pissed off, the dude teleported to Argus.
To be continued...
