Bombs & probes

Whats up with all & Probes that u find everywhere? What I have heard so far no-one have been able to pick up any, there is prolly a simple answer to this. I´m only curious and I would do a fortune if I could take all I found.
I wish I found fruits & that easy!

Is'nt those bombs just leftovers from miners MIA?

I think they should put a timer on them. If the owner does'nt rez and run back to pick it up in say 30 minutes, it should be free for all to pick up.

Im finding boms all over the place its very messy and just stupid that no-one can pick them up, if we cant pickup someone elese bombs ppl should not be back to pick up other items we drop - again consistancy requried.

I'm sure it is. There have been many reports of miners going missing while searching for deposits. Sometimes, even for days at a time. And when they finally return, they have no memory of the intervening time.

well,l i lost a few probes/bombs a long time ago, i think it was in 2004, and asked MA to return them into inventory (they were still in items list on webpage)
they did so if some miner reads this and cant find his bombs, try MA out

did anyone see PA last night? someone wrote their name in probes right next to the tp. no one can pick up the probes. im hoping this will prompt ma to fix this bug, because it is damn annoying to find probes and bombs all over the place.

I can kind of see why this sort of thing was implemented.. so a miner doesn't have someone tagging along behind him picking up the bombs before he can detonate them. Some sort of time limit will obviously have to be implemented soon though. I can't wait to see pa in a couple weeks if it isn't

Great that Im not the only one to notice this! I waited long before asking cos I thought it was sumthing MA had informed ppl & I had missed this info
If I´m not completly but havent there been a 5 minute barrier b4? What I mean like if u leave an item on the ground for more than 5min. it can b picked up by someone else!?
