After my smashing success on the Argonaut Iron Missions, making over 5,000 PED profit, I've decided to make a public log of my Feffoid iron mission. This was partly influenced by my soc mate's hunting log, which can be found here: https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?218330-Verii-s-hunting-log

My hunting style will be radically different from his. His method is using a bigger gun vs smaller maturities to reduce cost/kill, my method will be using a smaller weapon vs bigger mobs, resulting in a substantially higher cost/kill than he. I believe the comparison between our results will be interesting.
I will be using a P5a/A104 combo for the most part, though I may use a Cb19/beast, Improved/Modified Korss H400 (L), or even a regular Korss H400 (L) depending on prices, or a variety of other similar weapons based on their availability. Here goes nothing!

Current setup:
Weapon: Isis HL8(L)/A104(x2)
Armor: Gremlin/5B
Medical kit: Vivo T20 (L)

High point: +850.55 (hunt 15)
Current standing: -409.58 (as of hunt 25)


Notes:
- Markup will be calculated using averages (markup I can get for them minus auction fee) of what I typically sell.
- Medical decays are calculated using averages over time.
- This log does not reflect loots from other mobs (team hunts, events, etc.), and as such the returns logged here may or may not be higher or lower than they would be if I were strictly camping feffoid.
Reseller's note: I am looking for a reseller to buy misc. loots (enhancer components, extractors, paints, etc.) for a low markup (101.5% or so). Resell for whatever you feel like you can get for them, make as much PED off of me as you can - good on you. Contact me if you're interested.

Good luck with your hunts! If i may recommend one thing, it is the use of colors for your final results. I.E. green for positive and red for negative, it makes it much easier to see the final outcome!

I know this is a bit out of topic, but could you please share your set up against 10k Argos and the "lucky" area where you hunted them, the amount of ammo taken etc. Thanks
 
dont forget the daily feff cave mission, always plus 5 tokens, every day:)

The same gear, the area & amount of peds used could all be the same but you would get a different result entirely. Any point?

Same setup minus 5Bs for the most part, also used Cb19/beast for a good portion. Armor was a bit overkill, but I did it for the tiers. I also hunted in groups rather than 1 at a time, so decays were high and killrate was fast. Main sources of markup were eye oil, wool, and iron.

Nice run there mate :) And good to see you are doing good.

You already had a bigger hof that I have had on my ~9k feffs, hehe. Biggest so far was 244 ped.

Anyway - GL and merry christmas to all of you :D

Could you add how far you are on the mission after each run, for example 1234/10k, etc.?
This also gives how many feffs you killed on the run.

I kill an average of 100 feffoids per run, but yes, I will try to include some numbers in future posts - no promises with consistency though!

I'm extremely superstitious, and I played EU before this avatar (sold out, quit, avatar got deleted), when I returned I brought with me the theories and knowledge of my prior experience and have been hunting based on that. It's working out well so far ;)

Level 28-36. I try to focus on the 32-36.
