Do mining claims time stops during server restarts?

Bertha not working anymore...

The warning only show on Main chat and not on System.

Have 7/8 claims that will have the time expired if servers don't come up in like 5 minutes. Anyone knows if the timer stops when servers are down?

No, but you can make support ticket asking lost claims to be returned in inventory.

They will send you the materials.

The one size 9 I think I m okay but the others I will lose them. This game looks more amateur each day.

You send support ticket and you get lost claims back...

And to be honest this is your own mistake you know every tuesday is update and you see system messages...
 
Contact support, ive never had any issues being reimbursed for lost claims during downtimes. Just dont make it a habit. (weekly thing)

I only noticed them with 15 to the shut down. I can't make the warnings to show on the System tab that I use all the time. The warning only show on main chat that I only check time to time.

Besides that Bertha used to warning us and today (Monday) we got a VU update, I didn't really knew that server would come down today.

They send really MULTIPLE messages come on... :p
Best tuesday to mine get claim dig it up instantly until last 5 minutes you drop then stop :)
 
Anyway, like the timer on auction stops when the servers restart, the timer on mining claims should also stop. More quality of life to everyone.

Okay you dont use system tab. But you dont use memory either? Its like every tuesday this time of day for server restart, i dont say since 2008 because i wasnt there, but its tuesday this time of the day since past 4-5 years.

Not every Tuesday! Many times the game goes for 2/3 weeks without any restart or VU update.

And I use system tab! The warning ONLY show on Main.

And why did Bertha stop working? Stupid robots!!!
 
You have huge warnings in the middle of the screen saying that you landed on Calypso but when servers go down it only shows on the Main tab without any possibility to make it show on System tab or any other tab. Doesn't make any sense but okay. Support case sent.
 
10 days later finally got the expired claims in my inventory, thanks Mindark! :tiphat:

I'm still suggesting that the warning for the server restarts should show up in the middle of the screen, and not only on main chat, and like the timing on auctions stops the timing for mining claims should also stop during the server restart.

No they wont give always :( Once they had 2 hour extra maintenance and refused to give me any claims

First time that happened to me in 16 years. And mostly because time changed here in Europe recently to winter time so the server restart came 1 hour early.
 
BUMP!

Bertha doesn't do her job anymore and no warning ingame in the middle of the screen, like it's supposed.

On a game that costs real money to play. Hope that support can return my claims again... :(

To be honest sometimes its our fault and sometimes not. When they refused support i lost really many ...

I was kinda hoping for a VU today, even checked "Main" tab ingame a few times during my session but the ingame warning for the shutdown started to show only 15 minutes before. Even if I did catch it I would probably still lost some claims. I rely a lot on forum too and here the warning showed up 15 minutes after the servers went offline.
Not really the best way to conduct a business specially when it involves real money. Game already difficult enough without expired claims.

Already sent support ticket, ended up with 21 enmatter claims lost. Claim sizes between 5 and 8. (using F-105 with level 5 amp, enmatters only)

Even if they can extract them for me like the last time, the fact that I now need to wait 10 days to get it back in my inventory is annoying.
 
I think you had bad luck on that 10 day the couple times I had to do it was 2 business days... which made sense you don't want it instant or every scumbag on game will do it everyday to try and save 20 pec on excavator decay but 10 is too much... I agree should be a message in middle of the screen. Maybe since they got so many other problems with those messages with other things like space they would just cause even more problems and not worth it?

Let's hope this time it will be faster. I don't mind if they deduct 1/2 PED from my card to compensate for the decay of the extractor. This was not intentional, it's just because of the way I like to mine.

The simple solution would be to stop the time on the mining deeds like they do with the auctions.
 
Can't talk bad about support this time, less than 2 days and got all the expired claims in my inventory with an apology message and a "have a nice day".

Even so I think that:

1. The mining claims timing should be adjusted when servers go offline. (if there is 1 hour downtime then every mining claim get +1 hour of expiration timing)
2. The message that ONLY shows on main tab window should be possible to put it on System tab or even better, in the middle of the screen like we already have for other in-game warnings. (like the fake pvp warning in spave or when you land on a planet)

One of this points would result in a better quality of life for the players and less work load for the support department.
