I know nothing about pirating, but I do know math.

A quad's SI is 1200, Kismet's damage is 81.5-163, a cost per shot is 0.41 pec.
Even if a pirate is so unlucky that all his shots do minimal damage, it would take 15 shots to bring down a quad, or exactly 6 peds. In reality, considering Kismet's effective dmg of ~113, it's closer to 11 shots and 4.5 peds.

Unless the pirate misses half of the time, then he should be ashamed and tt his quad immediately before anyone noticed
