I feel like it’s worth firing up a new thread for these with the new prizes being so good.

Given that 1st prize pretty much guarantees most hardcore players will be able to take the mod nano from the vendor, the 3 pec point that known resellers are offering seems pretty pathetic, but I could be wrong. (I know bigger non-resellers with buying threads are offering more, that’s not a dog at them so put the popcorn away )

what are your thoughts on a fair price?

Considering it is a blind auction it is hard to say but;

Last year:

1st place was 5.5mil points
And at 3pec a point that is 165k PED
For now 2 Rares and 80k points.

2nd place was 3.15mil points
At 3pec a point is a cost of 94.5k ped
for 1 Rare and 40k points

3rd place was 2.11mil points
at 3pec a point is a cost of 63k ped
for 1 Rare and 20k points

4th place was 435k pints
at 3pec a point is a cost of 13k ped
for 1 Rare and 10k points

5th place was 360k points
At 3pec a point is a cost of 10.6k ped
for 1 Rare and 5k points

after that it is up to the competitors if spending that kind of ped at a chance to win a rare token, in a blind auction, is worth and if the items available can justify such costs.

Personally I would take my chances at buying the item I want at those prices rather than take the chance at nothing.

This year I suspect the price per point and winning points totals will be much higher than previous years, as this seems to be the only competitive structure in the new Mayhems, so far…
