Global Auction (Why nobody use?!)

Straight to the point, why is global auction empty? Did I miss a meeting?

I hate having to fly back with my stuff I want to sell on auction, or when I run out of laser swords while on some non-Calypso planet and then I can't get stock on that planet's auction. Global would be so convenient for cross-planet trade, so why is it dead?

I've not actually listed anything on the global auction, so if I missed that it has inter-planetary fees or something, feel free to shout me down, but I'm not pay 50pec to get the answer =D

Don’t feel too bad, there is all kinds of broken features in this game that could be utilized.

To name a few. Global auction implemented but ignored. Shared estates or allowing someone to manage a shop or land area estate via permission. Same for motherships.

List goes on.

I think it was initially meant to show all planets/space auctions, so that the whole universe can be browsed instead of having to click planet by planet. At least that would give it a handy function...

As I recall it's only ever been used by Mindark for things like the original CLD sales, the statue deeds and some account liquidation stuff if memory serves.

Imagination is limitless and so is the potential, but MA not...

As an example Mindark used global auction to sell the motherships, as you can see here.

It's not a broken feature as some are claiming, its just a auction tab exclusively used by MA, that allows us to bind and claim the items wherever we are in the universe.
