How do you leave a society?

Hi all,
I inadvertantly joined a society (or two) and would like to leave them. How would i go about doing that?

go to a soc-terminal, open it, somewhere on the lower left should be a red arrow, tooltip say's something like 'leave current soc'

Go back to the society terminal and check the options again.

Have you considered trying to unjoin a society using the same interface you used to join one?

TIP: Use the red arrow...

thanks for the info. I did consider leaving using the soc window - its just that i thot there mite be a quicker way.

That is why it's called a society terminal, it's the way you access your available options on querying and ordering the system for activities regarding your society.

I believe the proper proceedure is this:

1. Go up to the soc leader.
2. say: "I break with thee, I break with thee, I break with thee"

3. Then you throw mob dung on their shoes.

Less dramatic in EU as the dung appears from thin air and is not "naturally" spilled over the betrayed boss.
