How to kill a 'trox Alpha?

Yesterday, I felt like the coyote standing in front of the train when I was heading east from the revival that is West of Troy.

I swear I could hear the snickering of the Atrox Alphas and the Spiders about my Mk-II peashooter, my Valor butterknife, and my aluminum foil Vigilante (it's all I have atm).

So: what in the world do you use on those guys? :)
 
fap5 and a stick

I use Angel and DOA. They loot bad but can drop loads of thin wool over time.
 
Not vigi, for sure ;) Even Rascal will protect better against the trox. Maybe Nemi.

Use a quick FAP. EMT-2350 or 2600.

Valor isn't bad, neither is the justifier. But you'll need something to do massive damage at far range. 8.8k might work. 8,8kM works better. 9300 works. M&L35. Slap an amp on any of those babies for even more punch. The more damage you do to them while they are far away, the better. Bravo etc is too slow to reload though.

Finally, a longblade to do massive damage at close range works. You also might try a Maddox IV with an amp for quick damage that will make them hurt. Fap as needed.

I use nemesis with 5.A plates and just about any weapon. maddox4+dante works fine, adjusted v1 too. They hit hard but they hit poorly. sometimes they just get one hit on you before they dead.
 
i use my legs..........to run away :)


come on....its just not quite enough to slap a amp on a dante to run off and kill spiders....even if u hava a fast fap in your backpocket....
 
I use knight and 5b plates and doa+dante or VME+204 for Old Alpha Knight+5b takes the hurt down to a measily 100 dmg ;) they seem to leave me alone long enuf for me to get 2 adj faps done

VERY soldom profit on them unless I stick to alpha's and use unplated rascal and VME
 
Atrox alpha would do:

Unarmored = 128
Angel = 38
Nemesis = 83
Vigilante = 93
Rascal = 108

So, unless you have a really good fap, or high defensive skills, you'd be a dead python ;)
I stay away from those bad boys hunting solo, but hunting in team they're a piece of cake. ;)
Nemesis or vigi + a decent fap emt2600 would do (+ a buddy to help you heal when necessary). If not, run around them :)
I use the 2600 a lot, and that's a great fap if you ask me.

Or you could just tip them over, and they can't get up. No wait, that was just a dream. :silly2:

Never try killing anything with an amped Dante - you won't succeed :laugh:

The spiders are some tough to take alone but Atrox up to Alpha should be ok for medium players.
Requirements would be to have a FAP that heal you at least 40 HP each time. (With ok FA-skills, you heal max with FAP-90 or EK2600 each time) You should also use full repaired nemesis with 5a plates as armor.
Weapon MKV or MKII with a nice amp. (Example A204 or A106 on the mk2)
Alternative AS-147 ME or similar BLP weapon.
130+ in HP should be required to hunt down Alpha versions of Troxes to not die so often.
Defence skills around 3k+ in average.

When Im stuck at that SC I use my SCUBA gear..

Yep.. The long swim to port atlantis..

Yeah, I wound up doing the long swim myself with another guy.

It really was sort of funny. Now I know how pavement feels.

nerve blast is fun on trox

I have been using misc weapons and armors to kill the trox alphas. Ive found that nerve blast chips are the most fun, altho not the most cost efficient.
Just "unlocked" the level 8 nerve blast chips today and i went to pvp2 and hunted trox with it. REAL fun and fast skills too.
Usually i use EP-45/ml-35 (amped) or better weapons on them tho.

Orange jump suit, mod fap and a katsuichi.

Armor is for women and small children!

Or those of us who cant afford to buy a 9000$ fap :)
 
You need some or all of these..
Angel or shadow armor with 5b plates
A fast reload long range gun like an ml-35 or 35ME with a dante
When it gets close you need a high damage fast reloading gun like a mod merc, maddox4/freand delta(with dante)
A high amount of evade skills and a good fap (fap-90, 2600, adj/imp/mod fap)
OR a couple of buddies with fast reloading weapons and a nearby revive terminal.
 
i'm using vigi+ek2600+doa loudmouth (amped)
i've 118hp they does 92 damages they rarely hit me 2 times in a row, so i can fap me and kill them without problems (i got like +2k average in defence/general skill), btw it's better for you to use a nemesis + 4a or 5a plates and ek2600, more than 100 hp
Since you got vigi+valor, it's better to do not attack 'em :D try to kill some dominant ;)

i use Angel + (8a Limited/5b mix) (not bad) + jungle stalker + Dante

ummm where are the atrox stalkers? :D

Now.. atrax stalkers, if u want a run for your money try them out!

i had to die and come back 3 times but i got the bugger. !
(5 ped loot)

With nemesis+5a and 125-130ish hp and lets say a ek 2600 kit you should be able to kill those very easy...
 
The key is being able to survive ONE hit from the trox with a few points of margin, while also having the capicity with your own fap, or by way of a nursing team, the ability to heal back your hp before the trox finishes it's cycle and attacks again.

lol im just an little girl but I just use an Determatoin to kill those things and no armor :)

Yes Nicole, but not all of us have a mod fap and high hp like you do (high relatively speaking of course)....

If I ever win the lottery, I'm gonna buy every single skill chip in the auction to push my hp up...and then still skill like crazy...

Who said I was using mod fap (looks to side) I was using fap 5 :) sure I was, really :)

Cept when i win the lottery i wont buy the skill chips, but would sintead get nice weapons,armor, fap and hunt/mine/craft for 8-16 hours a day 7/365 til i got nice skills
