Is there a way to minimize the scanning window?

I scan mobs before I kill them - for reasons. I used to be able to minimize the scanning window while hunting so it wasn't in the way of my view.

Now we have a new GIANT scanning window... A very beautiful, but very obnoxious window because I do not see a minimization button on that window. Is there any other way to minimize it, or prevent it from popping up on each scan? Otherwise, I have to just let it sit there taking up real estate in my window. I'd rather see the scenery.
