Is this game unfair for me?

Hi.
I play entropia over 3 yers now , and i start to feel that this game is unfair for me.
Plz look at my tracker ( jacek baton kowalski ) and tell if im right. I general hunt but also mine and craft form time to time. Like MA says uber loot are pure luck, so ok i dont have luck, but i get only 2 loots over 1k( 1.5k in hunt and 2,1k in mining). Do you think thats fair? is ther more ppl like me? plz help me , i only depo depo depo..... Im so flustrated at this game i relly consider seling out

I see nothing unfair with you tracker. It's actually good
 
I have played for 2 years 8.5 months and I would be happy if my tracker looked like yours.
 
i glanced at your tracker and noticed 3 things wrong

1 scoria
2 leviathan
3 atrox


all of these mobs have poor loot in terms of MU :tiphat:
 
k your last page of hunting show : you hunting scoria/levi

your last page of minning show alot og HOF

im saying you like minning with big amp or CND and like killing big hp monster with no damage

what a surprise you are crying about loot when you are doing the most gambling things...

levi and scoria are really gambler (you earn peds only on big loot) and minning CND or with big amp allow to earn money with big find...


try to hunt with less not necessary decay (big amp...) try hunting trox with hl6 + pixie 5a for a week and come after that

3months at least 4-10 hours per day.
When i log on i mine/ hunt untill i log off.

my last profit on mining was 2 months ago........

last profit on hunting was Saturday, April 14, 2012 10:03.

Yes. Not that many weeks when I don't play on at least 6 days. level 47 laser sniper, 31 brawler hit, 31 electrokinetic hit.

I dont cry that i losing peds. I just say i cant hit anythig big. for very long time i was hunting small mobs with no big hits so i swith to big ones and still nothing. i know its gambling and i like it:) i like casinos and i know one rule, wanna hit big play big:)

I play more as 6 years eu.. my bigest loot was :

1600ped erdo
2400 ped atrox
277 ped esi from atrox
1800 ped from atrox

no biger loot as 277 ped esi, since i play, and never had luck to find a tower.
I think i never will hit a big one!
 
my advice would be dont chase the hof. you will get it from something unexpected. When i say the hof I mean a nice size uber 5k+ I grinded most of the big mobs and never hit a real uber on them. Both of my uber loots were on low level mobs and completly unexpected. I mean really who would expect a beladoth young to drop 18k of oil instead of huon that I am top hunter on and grinded well over 6wk straight for an event with 2700ped biggest loot on them.

I find when i try to chase the uber, my pedcard suffers. It really will come when your not expecting.

Also look at your overall return. are you + or - in your peds from deposits?

also note, I do levi, scoria ect only when I feel lucky. and it still seems to never work out with them.

Tnx Lunchbox this it advice i was looking for. I try your way and see what hapens. I hope it will work for me too:) I wait one more year , and come back to this post, to "cry" more or to boast:)

I play every day at least 4-5 hours (sometimes a lot more) for 6 years and I'd trade my tracker with yours anytime (total loot 4 times less, never had loot > 1k) :)

And I wholeheartedly second the comments like "don't touch atrox, scoria, leviathan and other MU-poor stuff" and "don't chase hofs" (in fact, these two are almost synonyms).

Lucky you .. 2.1k loot is very good... my best loot dates back to 2005 a 1250 pedder from a molisk young.
 
Been here 6+ years, never had a solo loot over 900ped and haven't had a global in 3-4 years and a hof in over 4 (and that was single my 850ped hof). My tracker barely counts as a page.

I've learned to live with the lack of the swirlie fix a long time ago but that doesn't mean I would'nt welcome one every now and then.

My playing time hasn't changed a lot but back then I averaged a global every 3 months.
 
8 years here almost,228 ped highest hunting global on tracker,and without tracker-300 ped trox young i think 3 or 4 years ago...

So,u are unlucky?I should be very pissed of by now then:mad:

Sorry to say that "you are a cash cow for MA"
Although a lot of ppl would say your tracker looks good... but I can see how you could be ripped off in a very simple way.

You spend on MU
and
gain nothing much back in MU (at least in hunting)!

Nope, not really, I've played over 5 years, regular deposits and no hofs over 400 ped (mining) :p
And 0 hofs in hunting, and that's my main profession :p

Almost 2 years and largest was 300 and change craft HoF.

No hunt or mining global over 120.

And all combined, you can count 'em all on two hands.

But I don't depo either.

And that is what your tracker seems to show. When you play bigger, your wins and your losses both get bigger.

Statistically, the most successful gambling strategy is "Going for Broke" - most people who try, succeed.

To everyone saying they would trade tracker pages - they easily could. Just trade your strategic, economics-based playing styles that reduce volatility and prolong play time for a gambler's luck-based playing style. Pump up the deposits, shoot the biggest, dumbest things you can (all the time, eco and markup be damned), use big amps when you mine, and always craft on condition.

There are many ways to play, and we each choose a style that fits us - while marveling at the choices of others.

Look at entropia tracker vs deposit.:wise:

First to eat the dust look at my tracker and know that i depo about 1.5 -2k $ per month.

Hunting Stats
Favorite Mob: Atrox
Largest Loot: 27,373 PED
Total Loot: 577,401 PED

Mining Stats
Favorite Mineral: Iron Stone
Largest Find: 2,396 PED
Total Finds: 24,285 PED

Crafting Stats
Favorite Item: OreAmp OA-101 (L)
Largest Craft: 11,980 PED
Total Craft: 216,415 PED

30k $ or.. i dun like you see in 6 years it would be about 126k $ for me.

one more with me :) 3 years of playing and only 1 uber of 1300 ped to show, at the last minute when I hardly played and had lost all illusions changing it by frustration and bad karma.

I do not see your traker weird, I see it as bad as most of the usual losers who are many around here.

the saddest story? who knows, I don´t see a competition, but I guess the winner will be the one that most $$$$$ deposit and is in the same boat as us. :twocents:
 
This game is unfair to anyone who haven't got their parents credit card to play around with (more or less)
 
Loot does suck and ...well, someone's gotta pay and that someone is us
 
I think this game can't be played when you are frustrated and looking to win peds at any cost.
You should just try to take a break or try to hunt little mobs just for fun
you can also try something different like mining or visiting others planets

Hmmm? most people here are adults who spend their own earnings. And this is not about returns really, but those funny things called "loots over 50 ped" and "loots over 1K ped". Some people get them while others don't. Sometimes this applies to different weeks on same mob with same equipment for same person ... while getting the same returns.
