Let me start by saying I was born 12-3-05. I had no clue what I was doing, I saw this "Real Money" game in the news in a story about "some guy" named NEVERDIE who bought a fake piece of land for $100,000.00. I thought to myself, "Wow this sounds interesting".

I was a bit intimidated for the first few days and to be honest absolutely hated the game. I thought the controls were too hard to use and that the game play sucked. Then I ran into smoothee. I was standing in PA in my OJ's advertising sweat. This guy ran up to me looking like a storm trooper and asked me how much. I told him "1.5" (I didn't even know what that meant, I just said it because everyone else was). He told me it sounds fair then after some convo asked me if I wanted to become his disciple. I asked him what that meant and he explained. Then suddenly lootius shot me up with some cracktopia and I was hooked. I became a skilling machine. I started to play 70+ hours a week for months skilling like some insane demon. I managed to graduate in something like 6 weeks I think. This doesn't sound too amazing until you realize I hit 1k in rifle then decided to switch to HG when he loaned me an EP-40 on my first hunt with him.

I can not tell you how glad I am that I ran into smoothee. I think he was the best mentor a guy could have and has turned out to be a close trusted friend. I ended up joing a soc called WildD3m0ns and was made colonel. I learned a lot from Brent Wildman Lansing and still consider he and Shannon close friends. I decided for private reasons that it was time to change socities. I found I seemed to have a different direction in mind. I ended up going to nAn. I loved my brief membership in nAn and met lots of VERY cool people (I love you Echo rofl) and met one of my other closest friends there "John BigDog Burton". Once again one of the nicest guys I have met to date. We decided to break off and form Manifest Destiny together. I am the founder and BD is the General. MD has turned out to be an awesome collection of friends who love to joke and talk smack (I will still kill you with my 2x0 BD rofl). Anyway we are playing and growing together and through the creation of MD I have met a lot of other great players, Demonikos, Zib, Sven, Crystal, and EZ. And now my growth still flourishes.

Some of you may know me as "that guy who spams mining globals", others "that guy with the ad on peauction.com", yet still others "that guy who bought the adjusted FAP", and finally I am sure some of you "that annoying guy who always has something to say in the forums".

I never dreamed that I would rise to the position I have gotten to in such a short period of time. I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the "famous" players in this game and becomig friends with them. You are great people all of you. Thriller thanks for always being willing to help me out when I need you, ND you are an awesome guy, I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me and letting me get to know you some, Auktuma thanks for all the help you have given and making things for me (I always enjoy talking to you), Buzz our convos have been great thanks for hooking me up with tons of OA's when I need them for my psycho mining runs haha, MS9 YOU ROCK you are my fav moderator and dance partner, Starman as I have said before you are a God lol thanks for the clicks on the bonos and Feodoras, Akoz always good talking to you sorry I aint sellin my claw .

This last section though is dedicated to a friend who I must say is my closest friend. Nick Hulk Jenkins, and I were born right aorund the same time. We used to run out in our OJ's and shoot bery's with our unamped opalos and chop on them with our 1x0's. I hold fond memories of us bitching about short firn boards and asking things like "what am I gonna build a f%$king house". Another fun memory is when I learned form you what a beacon is. Do you remember us saying "One day we got to do one of those together"? how funny is it we have been doing like 4 a week. Wow dude how n00b were we? We didn't even know what those boards were for lol. Nick and I lost touch for a bit although he is one of the people I was never willing to remove from my FL. After a while we started talking again and our friendship has become stronger than ever.

I have now turned my wife into a Cracktopia head and she skills like a mad woman. She is the only person I have run into so far that has close to 1k in Powerfist LOL. She and Nick have also become close friends and we all go out and tank relatively huge mobs with our opalo's lol. She is growing day by day and I am very proud of her.

I have had so much great advice from all of my firends I can not thank you enough. Especially you smoothee, I can legitimately say I would not be as far as I am today without your help. And I want you to know that even though it seems like I ignored some of your advice haha I did always listen, just sometimes I felt like I had to see for myself (and yes I will buy a set of damned Rascal again lol). These are the reasons why I sponsor the little new player events I do and try to get players involved. I want to give back to the community like the community gave to me.

Anyway I figured I would start my diary by explaining a bit about my history. There will be more details to come when and if I feel like writing. Best of luck to you all.

Show some courtesy in sell threads

Well hello everyone, nothing amazing to say today although I would like to rant a little bit.

I watch the selling forum quite a bit because I am always in the market to buy something I don't need. Sometimes I even decide to post something I am selling in there.

I put up an auction on the sell forum for some Ruga. Honestly I did not pull it up myself a friend did. I told him I would sell it for him as a favor at a price we both agreed was fair and just based on the current market as we see it. Well a certain user decided to question why I was asking the price I was asking and I blew up. This person just happened to be the one to press the ignition button on a bomb that has been building power for a while now.

Honestly I get tired of seeing sale threads where people complain or question the price something is listed at. If I want to put a pixie harness up for +1,000,000,000 PED that is my choice. If you don't want pay it, don't pay it, most importantly keep your comments out of my thread and if you have a question or you think I am way off on price PM me. That is what PM is there for.

I have PM'd a number of people telling them you know imho opinion you are priced out of market. They politely say thanks for the info and do with it what they please. I just think I may be helping them out a bit. It does not bothe their thread. It does not create excitement seeing a response to their thread only to find out it is some crap you didnt care to hear anyway.

Those of you who know me, know I can get pretty riled up from time to time. You also know I am generous, loyal, and friendly until you piss me off haha.

Anyway just thought I would drop a line about that since it hit a spot.

Brain dump

Well it has been an interesting weekend. I noticed over the weekend I ended up being chosen for the general position in my Society. I decided (with some advice) to use my new position to do the right thing and put it to a vote instead of an appointment. Just thinking things will be very diff. when BD leaves. We will all miss him as he is a good friend to us.

NOW, I bought vigi/6a todo some robot hunting. I was tired of having 132 Dodge. I busted out the Mad IV and went to the robot spawn near Troy the other day and found out I can kill everything out there. I have skilled almost 200 Dodge this week. Finally got my first robot global. Nothing exciting just 75 PED or so, no big deal.

Some of you may be wondering why you do not see me spamming gloabals mining anymore. I decided to take a break fom the hardcore mining for a while. I try to rotate what I am skilling to make sure I stay a well rounded player. I do not want to get to 10K HG one day and pick up a rifle and miss 8 shots in a row because I have like 3k.

Anyway just figured I would dump some thoughts on paper.

Another day another Global

Well I logged on last night for a bit before heading out to the grocery store and Rashima a soc mate of mine asked me how much a 29 PED beacon was worth so I told her I find them in auction for 200-210 depending on location and thought that was a fair price. She mentioned selling it for 200 so I bought it from her. My friends and I love to to do beacons and I already had one in inventory. Anyway she needed the money so we met at TI city TP near my apt and made the trade.

I knew I would have to be leaving soon to go with my wife to the grocery store so I decided to burn off the last 700 or so light BLP cells I had left from the 3 Beacons the night before. I was wondering how exactly I was going to do those beacons later since I left myself with 33 PED (and over 400 wrapped up in the actual beacons). I realized though that, that was enough ammo to get through the first one and then when the beacon cost was repaid from loot I would be fine for the second.

Well, back to the story, I head north towards the giant Cornundacauda's thinking I will just burn off the rest of the ammo. I kill an OA and get 1 PED, Prowler 1.69 PED, Stalker 203 PED, Prowler 2.65 PED, Stalker 1.5 PED.

Yes you read that right immediately after spending 200 on the beacon MA decided to give me my money right back . Strange how these things happen.


Secondly today I looked at my rep for the heck of it and noticed Viper81883 decided he was going to blast me with some neg rep and rather rude comments that included swearing. All because I was upset that he decided to waste space in my sell thread about the price I was asking for Rugaritz (I admit I was harsh about pointing it out to him but an experienced and polite user should know better). I find it ironic that he was extremely rude in complaining about me being rude rofl. Well I made sure that I responded using like terms he could understand (lots of swearing and rudeness). Just find it amusing that he apparently does not read the forums enough to see what kind of person I really am. Oh well his loss as those of you who know me will agree that I am a pretty nice person and will go to some great lengths to help another user out. Guess he never gets to find out about the generous side rofl.

I love mining amps

Well the last few days have been kind of crazy. I thought to myself, I should try to make some OA-101's again. So I grabbed enough for about 30 clicks or so and went to the machine. I clicked three times and suddenly uber HoF. Roughly 1300 ped with a 40 click MA-103 BP. I thought to myself "wow thats cool i had a feeling Iwould do well". I threw the BP ina uctiona nd walked away firguring I won't try amps for another month or so. Well, I lied. i started getting that I am going to uber feeling again and so i grabbed some more materials and went to the crafting machine. This time click, click, global, click, uber again. It was 1650 or so this time and had an OA-103 BP with 45 clicks. First uber was opals second was emeralds. I think I may lay off the amps for a while as Ihave probably run my luck out. Although it is cool that I gained 13 QR on my BP in the last couple of days.

General Soze

Well there has been a bit of a change as I mentioned in an earlier entry. A good friend of mine has changed socities. He was the general of the society I founded and a good friend to all of us. I ended up being moved into the General position. It just sort of happened not really a decision. I put it up to a vote and I am still the General so I guess i am in the spot to stay. I really do not want to let my friends down. I hope I do well. Sometimes it is rough to make unbiased decisions when you are dealing with your friends.

We are electing a new colonel to take my spot as I am now the General. I will be announcing the winner soon. I really hope nobody is too upset that they did not get chosen. It is a tough choice but the members have spoken and it is out of my hands. Crazy thing is it ended up being a tie so I think I am going to promote both of them.

Insane luck

Lately it is crazy, I have been having insane luck. It seems that just about everything I touch turns to gold. It worries me a bit though, what if the luck cycle theory is right? If it is that means one of two things for me, either I am being repaid for a horrible 4 months spree, or I am being prepaid for an upcoming terrible stretch of luck, lets hope it is the first one.

Soc life is going well, things seem to be chugging right along. I have been hunting a lot of argos lately trying to skill my LB. It is one skill that has fallen sorely behind as it can be rather expensive to skill. I never realized there was such a big difference between 3.3HA and 1.2HA. It does not sound like a big difference but holy crap, I miss tons more with my honor/valor/det than I do with laser/blp pistols.

Still wondering about the new VU. Things are going to get interesting. I decided to skill attachment crafting so that I might have a possibility of making some of these new amps that are coming out.

Anyway, I guess I really need to start taking pictures of my adventures. Maybe I should put in my own global or HoF gallery. Problem is it would take 15 posts to fit them all in here even if I could post 10 per post and I think the limit is three.

btw what the hell did they do to the forum index page? I can't find a damned thing. Well GL to all and member HoF yer ass off

New VU

I have not even logged in yet but last night I went to bed with a glimmer of hope that MA had listened to us and would put out a responible VU. Maybe they will fix some bugs, the new interface may be cool, maybe they decided to do something right, were some of the things I was thinking.

FOR SHAME ON ME THINKING POSITIVE THOUGHTS ABOUT A VU.


In my opinion it was extremely irresponsible of MA to release such a major loot change and not mention anything about it. "Have fun with your new and exciting items" is certainly not the proper response.

With all the PR problems and player relations issues that MA has you would think they would have made a conscious effort to make things right and actually communicate with us.

Personally I am going to try one or two hunts with an honor and if I see the things I think I am going to see (lots of no loots without no loot mssages and bottles of stupid useless animal crap that will take forever to sell) then it is the end of hunting for me.

Personally if wanted to do something where I saw no cash come in I would craft 24/7. It is yet again another attempt from MA to hide exactly what is going on imho.

The big question is WHERE THE HELL IS MARCO???

We not only want some answers but we DESERVE them. We are paying customers we want to know what the hell was going through your head.

New VU Part II

Well I have now logged in and have to admit this VU does have somethings going for it. Personally the new HUD looks great but I do not like the fact that it is hard to see.

The new graphics are stellar. The universe was in need of some visual improvement and it seems those have been made.

Now I have gone out and hunted and I DO NOT like the no cash loots. it is nearly impossible to know what you have looted with an easy glance. I also don't like the excited item feeling then realising that it is CRAP and virtually worthless.

I also still have a major problem with the fact that MA did not see fit to warn us this was coming.

Now on the auctions, they are VERY unintuitive. I hate the fact that you can not see a buyout price anymore. I NEED TO KNOW MORE THAN THE BUYOUT % (without waiting on a GD tooltip). Also how stupid is it that you put an auction up and decide buyout on (L) items in PED yet it is displayed in % to everyone else.

Another day another thread

I finally handed off the paint I have been meaning to give to Demonikos. I have to admit I like the way his clothes look. It is a pretty unique combo of colors and I have known him long enough to say it suits him.

We are in a race though, I was 3 HP behind him then spent 4 days skilling with swords and caught up. Now he gained another one and I am on the run again. 123-124. I will catch up again though and he knows it haha.

Demonikos is a good friend of mine. One of the few people I have found who has the ability to take all the shit I dish out and actually has the balls to dish it back

I have been looking at my clothes lately and realizing people are copying my damned style LOL. In fact I saw some guy running around wearing the EXACT same outfit I have and I know for a fact he bought it after because I have seen his other clothes. Sometimes I wish people would come up with original looks. Hell even if it looks like shit at least its original.


Well my wife, friend, and I went on another of our opalo hunts but realized very quickly what a complete piece of SHIT the opalo is now. Not being able to efficiently attach anything larger than an a101 you may as well be urinating on anything larger than an exaro young. Sooooo my friend does not have a lot of money (he can't deposit) so I came up with a solution. I bought the three of us Breer m2a's. I didn't buy bigger ones number one because there were none on the auction and number two because I wanted to try out a less expensive one to see if they were worth a crap (well there is a good reason they weren't ona uction I found out, haha, m2a is the biggest. To be honest although they are VERY slow I really like them. The m2a is a nice weapon and can be amped with an a102. The decay is not awesome. The way I figure it right now I might be able to get 400 ped of ammo through but really suspect it is more like 325 which means the thing is 1/3rd gone after a single hunt.

Maybe I should go back to skilling weapons and see if I can pull a bp for these things and make myself a stack of them. Seems like these would be the next in line to become the new opalo.

I really feel sorry for people who bitch about (L) items and refuse to try them. They really have no idea what they are missing. Nerfed stats like HA and CHA are worth their weight in gold. Your ammo goes much further and your decay goes down because you don't miss 4 shots in a row and end up having the crap beat out of you.

Anyway tonight it is back to skilling or hunting depending on what I am in the mood for.

I hope MA fixes the beacons soon. I am bored to death without being able to do 20 of them a week. It is pretty sad when you do so many that it actually drives the market price up because you and friends buy them all.

I'm back and much to my dismay the psycho luck I was having would seem to be at an end. Also MA seems to have changed something in the resource spawns. I am going to have to adjust something in my mining systems to get it back to the level it was at. I guess this means flushing even more uber amounts of PED into the proverbial mining toilet to figure out what it is that they changed.

Anyway, things have been good. With the exception of 3 days loot has been great. I will say though that I am sick of getting oil for loot. For some reason it also really bugs me when people say "it makes the game more realistic". What a bunch of hooey. What is realistic about an animal carrying around containers of refined animal parts? Absolutely nothing if you ask me.

I guess my biggest question remains the same. Why are they implementing new stuff when the old stuff does not even work right yet?

Well enough negative, I think Manifest Destiny is going to be recruiting. I would like to see our membership grow but to be honest I do not want to open the application process to just anyone. We have a very special group of friends and I want this to remain the same while at the same time bring more activity into the society. What to do what to do.

I am also having a hard time thinking of what to do for the next Kaiser new player activity. It has been a while and I need to come up with something fresh.

On the crazy side of things I have purposely trapped myself on CND. I purposely ran myself down to less than a trip home's worth of available PED. hoping this will curb my instaiable spending habits. I certainly can afford it but the question is should I be? With the instability that is showing all of the sudden in the game I have my doubts whether this is a system I want to invest further in. Don't get me wrong I won't leave but I think I will calm things down a bit.

Maybe I should take on a bunch of disciples they usually take up a lot of your time and it does good for the community.

Anyway, once again not 100% sure what direction I am going in. I have a number of things that are close to unlocking and unfortunately I do not think they will unlock anytime soon.

Wow skills make a difference

Well,

I always wondered do skills really make a huge difference. They gain so slowly that I really do not feel much of a difference most times between my avatar performance when I started and now.

Well last night I got some proof. Demonikos, Smoothee, and I decided to go and hunt SE's. The three of us all thought we were screwed and that our death rate was going to be sickeningly high. Much to our surprise we did not die much and more than once I was the last man standing (even though I don't have the highest skills).

Where I am going with this is I absolutely realized last night that Evade for one makes a huge difference. There was a point where Nik, and Smoothee had both died and the SE had maybe 15% of its health left. First thing through my head is "your a dead man" I kept firing and firing with the Mad IV and that thing swung at me for a good 60 seconds (at least it felt that long) and didn't hit me once and I finished it off . Then after we decided that is was sick to get 1 PED loots from these things we decided to try a huge one for the last mob on our hunt, huge being Gen 5. Up until that point we were wasting Gen 01 without a death most of the time and same with Gen 02. Well the Gen 5 ate Nik, then it ate Smoothee and there I am left firing alone. Well, I kept at the trigger thinking again "this thing is going to crap all over me any second". Believe it or not I got through about 10% of its health ALONE!!

Where I am going with this is hang in there all you new players. Believe it or not the things that stomp all over you like a lowly turd now will eventually feel your vengeance if you work at it

Trapped on CND

My luck may not be as thin as I thought. I trapped myself on CND earlier as you may have read on the earlier post and it did not work.

I ended up making my weekly deposit (smaller this time) and got that "you really should drop some bombs" feeling again. So I went and grabbed two OA-103's and 112 bombs and went to dome #(wouldn't you like to know) and returned to the mining limelight once again. Those two amps yielded 9 globals and a 554 Cald HoF. Not my biggest by far but certainly liveable.

Recruiting

Well, I decided today to open up a recruiting thread and see who responds. I am always aprehensive about general recruiting. I usually prefer to hand pick people but I decided that it may not be a bad idea to give it a shot again. Wonder if anyone will respond? I personally think anyone would be lucky to join such a close knit and accepting group of helpful friends.

Fair Trade Councils

I have been writing in a thread today about fair trade comissions again. It seems that every 5-7 days this comes up as a subject.

What these reall are, are groups that (I think NvCK said this) "Want to use market manipulation to stop market manipulation".

I really wonder why at times these people do not try and do something constructive that helps the game rather than trying to ram their erroneously assigned item and material values down peoples throat.

You know all underpayers could be eliminated by more people mentoring and teaching other players what their items are worth. This creates players who will stay and players who have some knowledge of how the game works.

Better yet get of your butts stop trading 24 hours a day and put some money into the loot pool so the other players and yourself will get some back and can keep looting things to keep the supply up.

What is frustrating is that people want to throw around credentials and degrees like it makes them the EU expert. I have mentioned mine from time to time but if memory serves VERY rarely without people throwing theirs in my face first. And I know for a fact that until this very second I have never mentioned my MENSA membership. Why because it is irrelevant.


Where I am going with this is actually kind of ironic. People need to learn how to use the search function on the forums. If they used it and actually read what they found before posting they would see that these market manipulation cartels are poopoo'd by a lot of people and are always the same thing. A group who miserably fails at creating artificial supply and demand based pricing that is way out of market.

The truly amusing thing is that they always end up with the word fair in the name to make it sound warm, fuzzy and harmless. Can you tell me how a small cartel of 10-20 players assigning artbitrary values to items is in any way shape or form fair? Funny how we use language to cover up our intentions. They call their idea "Fair Trade" yet they talk about blacklisting anyone who does not subscribe to their policy. Once again I do not see how this qualifies as fair trade.

Using market manipulation to stop market manipulation is actually sorta funny. Last time I checked you don't put out fires with fire (not thinking about things like controlled burn areas to stop advancement etc.)

Anyway as usual I am sure there will be some who agree and some who oppose. I have no doubt whatsoever that this one will fail like the 50 have failed that have come before. This kind of organization is next to impossible when demographics and lack of in game supporting tools is taken into account.

Things like these cartels are not good for the game, economy, or a free market which is what this is supposed to be.

TT finders

I decided to get back to my roots and try a tt finder and 100 bombs. It has been so long since I picked one up I could not even remember the avg depth of finds with it.

Well after 100 bombs let me say one thing. I experienced significant loss in terms of %. That is rare for me to say the least.

I found nothing but Lyst, well okay 1 narc find and one iron find both very small to say the least. I almost fell off my chair laughing when I detect something at 17m. If it was any more shallow I would have tripped over it and not needed a detector. Needless to say I think it is very unlikely that I will take out tt equipment ever again.

This goes to confirm the theory that ASD makes all teh difference. I have been chipping like I was ranch dip at a party lately. Big thanks to BigDog for turning me into a skill chip crack head!! I just love the fact that skills come so much faster with the chips. I can usually see an immediate increase in efficiency.

Anyway once again (L) finders are the way to go when mining but as I have always said try to stick with a maxed finder. If you just can not handle the wait anymore than at least wait until you are depth matched on the next level. I just makes sense in terms of efficiency.

I am thinking it is time to head back to CND for some more mining spam. I used to spend almost 100% of my time there but unfortunately have had other things that needed care and have not allowed me to spend the amount of time there I would like to.

On a soc note Manifest Destiny has decided to start a public service sister society by the name of Manifest Destiny Explorers. There will still be communication between MD and MDE but it will have to be via teamspeak since there really is no shared soc chat for associated societies. I hoep the membership grows.

I also have some thoughts on the video competition. I think the thing that is sad about the video competition is that it will not be won by the person with the best video it will be won by the person with the most auto click proxy bots. Sad really, yet another short sighted decision by MA with very little regard for the sensibility of what they are doing.

Do people read?

I have noticed lately that a great number of threads turn into a fight. You mention something in a thread that people do not like or have a difference of opinon on and they bust out into angry tyrading replies.

For instance I posted in a thread in the mining section. The player who posted was new and I mentioned in the thread that it was an old subject and that he should use the search function. Well someone made a comment about the fact that he was new etc. and I posted in the thread that I thought there was a forum rule about posting duplicate threads on the same subject. Well the onslaught of comments started after that. AI wonder, how is this member supposed to know the rules if nobody even mentions that there are rules? The best part was two comments show up in the thread afterward from people who apparently can not read and comprehend or choose not to.

They immediately say "well you double posted so don't be a hypocrite". For God's sake can nobody read anymore? I did not say one word about double posting I said there is a rule against duplicate threads. I said this in hopes that maybe the thread starter would see it and think "wow there are rules I will check them out".

I think there should be a moderator badge on a lot more EF members than there are because apparently most users think it is their job to waste space on other's threads playing police man/woman.

Good lord people plain and simple STFU. You are doing as much damagae to their thread as anyone else by wasting their space making stupid unfounded comments when you apparently can't even read and comprehend what you are reading.


Sorry about the tyrade guys but this has been eating at me for a while.


We have moderators let the moderators do their job. if you feel like a comment is warranted then make it just don't waste other people's threads trying to slam someone for making a warranted and helpful comment. If you want to do their job then ask 711 to make you a moderator.

My apologies

My apologies to those who read this. I have neglected to write anything for a while now.

I read the front page story Pinky wrote and felt a response was necessary. I tried to keep it as level headed as possible. She did a great job, I just felt a couple things had maybe been represented to be more rosey and happy than they really were. Anyway I do not want to waste space here talking about it. Well, I finally got a new finder so my beloved ore mining can once again commence. It is funny I am so hooked on mining I actually start to miss it kind of like an old friend who creeps in with a good memory once in a while.

It is funny, when I started this game over a year ago I never would have dreamed that I would end up with any type of fame. I figured I would be just another player who rose through the ranks and never made too much of an impact. I am not claiming to be "iconic" like dub calls himself (rofl) but I will freely admit it is nice have people recognize you and make an effort to track you down. Makes you feel like what you do makes a bit of a difference. Thank you to all of you who hold me in a high regard. I will do my best to never let you down.

That being said, I LOVE MY OF-213. When I got my 212 and it was fully skilled I noticed a major shift in what I was finding. Maybe not in how often but most certainly what. I have found a number of rare ores such as xerimite, terrudite, valurite, azzurdite etc. I can't wait to find out what the 213 brings. I am just glad I was able to snatch this one up. From what I have heard from my friends in the crafting world (don't want to name drop) these BP's are few and far between. In fact they seem to have stopped dropping. I am just thankful I was able to get one before they disappeared.

Well to break in my new finder I went to my home away from home ND's fine establishment CND. Even with an above normal number of players there due to the end of MMOWWC being this Friday I was able to do fairly well. Had a bit of an odd occurence though. Normally I am spam man from planet X there. That is one of the ways I gained a little fame was by people seeing my name going by constantly. I did not spam this time though and that is okay. I think I had two globals and a 556 PED Narc HoF. What is very strange though (imho) is that with the 213 I seemed to hit A LOT more. Even though I did not glob or HoF nearly as often as usual I surely saw a very noticeable hit frequency increase even over my normally exceptional rate with my system. Now here is the part that really throws me for a loop. I did NOT change my system. As many of you have seen me say many times, I bring home profit in TT 80-90% of runs. Not usually a lot but tt profit none the less which means a nice profit with markup. Well last night in 400 bombs, 3 OA-103's and an OA-105 I brought home a SIGNIFICANT profit in TT. I am wondering if this is going to be a pattern. I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that I am now (to my knowledge) using the 4th deepest ASD finder in the game and to my knowledge the 2nd deepest ASD finder that does not cost more than my car.

Well time will tell. I will say this though, it decays fast. With roughly 400 bombs I decayed 7 PED off that finder in one night. At this rate I will have the thing burnt in a little over a month. That is fine though because with the HoF last night which came up almost 1k with markup and the almost 800 the night before on the ore amp the finder was free so WOOPEE who cares how fast it burns. Except I will end back up in the withdrawl phase again and have to sleep with a Teddy bear made of seismic bombs.

Well I did another CND run with a few amps and guess what? I did it again not many globals only 1 HoF but a significant amount of finds (even when people were complaining the domes werent finding).

Yet again a little over 400 PED in materials taken out and 950 PED tt brought home.

It is really creeping me out that I am doing even better than before withou the swirlies.

major announcement!!

As my close friends know I have been developing a video for this years competition for 6 months.

As I am sure you have noticed by now my video has not been released. Due to RL issues and EU related <cough> www.!!!!!!!!.com <cough> projects I have regrettably decided to withhold my video until next year's competition if there is one.

It has been 5 months almost to the day since I posted in this!!

and most likely it will be another 5 months before I do it again. I felt the need to write here due to what I consider to be investment fraud.

I am sure this post will prompt one of a few things to happen, either get this post in my diary deleted, get my entire diary edited and locked, get me banned, etc. BUT I DON'T CARE!! This has gone on long enough.

As most know I have been rather busy with a project I am heavily involved in that you may have noticed on peauction.com. I am not going to mention it here but if you look around any of my posts enough you can find what I am talking about.

Anyway, what I want to address here is a certain bank. I am not going to name any names, players, companies, etc. I mentioned a while back that I felt what a certain person is doing by selling shares in a bank is raisky at best. Then I started thinking about it more deeply and applying my knowledge of the financial markets and investment to the situation (I am a licensed broker and investment advisor here in the U.S. although that is not what I do for a living anymore).

I could only come to one conclusion FRAUD. Once again this is my opinion only but I still feel it needs to be stated. I ran through the posts I could find about said bank here and on other forums and noticed that these people are not answering any questions that their investors ask about where their money went or how it is being used. The extreme lack of disclosure as to operating expenses, capital provisioning and fees went unanswered until recently as well. Suddenly though, in another forum I now spend most of my time in, I heard that there finally was a tiny bit of disclosure about fees, not surprisingly the fees associated with a monetary transaction are stupendous. I couldn't believe it. There is also no disclosure as to how/when/why the reserved shares would be released or if the ownership of unreleased shares is retained by the issuer. As best I can tell all there is, is a partially working website (which people have voiced concerns to me about in other mediums), and a 3D model of a building. What really scares the hell out of me though is that there is a moderator who closes any thread that voices negative opinion of said business and the proprietor chooses not to address people's concerns rather than put their fears to rest. Does that sound shady to anyone else? For some unknown reason PEOPLE STILL INVEST!! WTF is up with that?

My favorite post was the one where an investor asked why there was no progress and why there was no communication and all this investor was told in so many words was "There is no business to be done so there is nothing to communicate about". All I can say to that is HOLY SHIT!!! Someone invests money with that company and then gets told STFU when they ask where their money went. That statement to me insinuates "We got your money fuck you".

Someone I consider a friend and who I feel is a nice person greatly supports these "banks". I put quotes there because it is not a bank its a PAWN SHOP!! Come on people learn the difference. Personally I feel he is wrong and that these pawnshops will fall flat on their face. Why would someone pay interest on a loan against a piece of equipment when they could just sell the stupid thing and buy it back later? I mean come on, there are VERY few items in this game that are hard to find. If you know the right people you can get anything within a matter of 72 hours or so, so finding it again shouldn't be an issue. Granted the price could be higher but at least this way you get as long as you want to pay it back. I digress (sp?) what really scares me is that the proprietor of said unnamed bank doesn't even realize what she/he has purchased. They are trying to make some kind of massive exchange enterprise out of a damned virtual pawn shop. One of my other favorite parts about it though is the fact that the owner of the pawnshop randomly assigned a value to it. That is GREAT. I know when I look for something to invest in I only consider things that have a completely baseless and random value. Those tend to be the best investments, the ones where you buy something at a certain price because a total stranger with a barely recognizable name says "It's worth X amount of money because I say so". Anyone want to buy a Ford Focus 4 door for say $5,000,000.00? It's worth it because I say it is. Or better yet how about buying a share of my focus for say $5.00. I will issue 1,000,000 shares of my Ford Focus at $5.00 each. Don't worry though my Focus shares are tied to Toyota Prius shares and my name is Kaiser and I play another game so its all good and your money is safe "trust me".

What's that? You want to know what I did with the money you gave me to buy shares? STFU!! You want some kind of written proof that you invested in MY uber focus? STFU!! You want me to talk to you about how your money will be used or what the fees are to sell out? STFU!! There is no business to be done so there is nothing to talk about and your questions are invalid, thanks for the money though.

I just don't see how this equates to anything other than fraud. I am a VERY honest individual and if someone had invested money with me they would know where every penny went, there would be full disclosure of operating procedure and dividend distribution as well as annual reports and full REAL company valuation, as well as articles of incorporation so there is legal recourse and oversight for my investors not just a sub forum, a half finished web site, my apparent absence, and angry investors.

Speaking of which, be on the lookout for Digital Revolution Inc. There is something new coming to Entropia that is real and honest not fraudulent and poorly thought out with a proprietor who refuses to answer to her/his shareholders.


I hope it works out for the investors but right now it looks like it belongs in Nigeria to me.

Further concerns about an unnamed bank

I posted some concerns about the unnamed bank in a sub forum that is dedicated to discussion about the venture. Interestingly enough my post was not all warm and fuzzy about said bank (imagine that). I am sure you can guess that the post got deleted. The best part was the explanation "troll post". I really fail to see how saying something that a certain staff member of said sub forum didn't like is a troll post.

Secondly I really tbh don't even understand what a troll post is apparently. My understanding was that it is when you post something to a thread for the sake of posting just to gain EFD or some other type of recognition when you don't care about the subject. I think it is obvious that i care about the subject and the well being of my fellow players who imho will soon be victims. Did I paste a picture of a plastic fuzzy headed toy with a fake jewel in its navel? Maybe that's why it was called a troll post.

I stand by what I said though, think about the fact that an ethical business has no problem standing up and proving their standards of ethics. Heck, even Microsoft who I don't see as high on the ethics list defends itself when it is called into question.

No more bank bitching, what is Kaiser up to?

As I am sure any of my friends and colleagues reading this have noticed, I have been absentee for quite a while now in terms of my EU play time.

I have been very busy IRL for the last few weeks but that si rapidly coming to an end. I had an epiphany about EU while I was away though. I had a sickeningly large amount of money tied up in crap I could live without. Things I had spent quite a bit of money on that I really did not need. Sooooooooo I restructured Kaiser to be a purist.

As man know I had significant crafting and mining skills to go along with my hunting skills. In my quest for purism I decided to chip out absolutely everything that was not combat or health related. This would explain why people may have seen a large quantity of my skills in auction. To date I have about 10k PED sold out and another 5K of useless crap to go.

I just decided I wanted to realign my priorities and get back to the basics. I have been far too whimsical with my spending. Thankfully my whims have made me money and not lost it overall.

I would like to say though, ya'll most likely will not see many HoF's or globals from me anytime soon. I am going back to purely efficiency hunting for the next 12 months. Over the last year I have kept a pretty good record of how my loot has been as I hunt with no regard for economy whatsoever.

Now over the next twelve months I am going to see how I loot with extreme attention to economy. My money says I will loot nowhere near as well with extreme attention to econ as I did when I would do things like go an kill 30 Daspletors in one night or go falx hunting or hogglo hunting etc.

Anyway, for those who care whats going on with me there you have it. For those that don't care, why are you reading this?
