Suggestion: Lets fix the game mechanics and current non working implementations.

I am fast growing tired of seeing a certain mod on this forum posting how to polish a [common dung] rather than fixing the games mechanics.

how i see the structure... is something like this section "A" game mechanic, section "B" incomplete non working implementation (Broken promises), section "C" polishing the [common dung]



I will now go out and collect up a few forum threads in this forum and start structuring them as stated above.

help me out and throw your ideas here or create a thread and then link that to here... we need to centralise this!

and we certainly do not need to keep bringing up section "C" every VU that comes about.

There are a lot of issues I cannot go and find them all myself please if you happen on this thread feel free to find or even explain your issue here(Though I would prefer you open a new thread and link back here).
 
I'm totally on board with you, but I don't want to open a new thread for each complaint, so IMO some quality-of-life improvements (in no particular order) would be:

1) Fix the (*@&#$ collision detection. I'm tired of getting stuck just running down hill. Or stuck in walls. Or mobs stuck in shit. Or have you ever tried hunting Jori? It's an exercise in frustration. This will be no small task since the entire game is riddled with terrible collision problems.

2) Fix targeting. If the mob moves slightly my shooting shouldn't get interrupted while my whole avatar has to contort around to figure out the new position. Just keep shooting and correct the animation asynchronously.

3) Fix the "next target" feature. If I hit next target, instead of selecting the mob that is actively attacking me, why are you selecting a mob 300 meters away? Also have "next target" be density weighted, so when I select next target you give me a nearby mob that is close to the spawn rather than some solo mob that is way off by itself somewhere.

4) Get rid of the "unknown resource" mechanic in mining. I cannot fathom why this exists or what it's supposed to do other than be annoying and make using LBML more of a pain.

5) Get rid of PvP space. Encourage interplanetary trade and do something positive for the economy.
