Loot UL items with L gun?

Simple question, is it possible to loot (decent/good) UL items with a L gun?
So far, the screenshots i could find with item drops the gun involved was always unlimited.
But maybe this is just a coincidence.

100% yes. Those two things are not related.

You see more UL weapons looting UL items because chances are UL items are looted by grinders, and real grinders most of the time use UL gear. Also, using UL gear is no longer a rare thing like it was a decade ago.

The whole correlation vs. causation thing...

(L) items are for the casual player.
(UL) items are for the professional player.

Who do you think has the turnover with the higher chance to loot a (UL) item?

Yes actually last year's I looted a igni L1000 unl with a armatrix (L)

Thanks all for the replies! I was gone a few days so hence my late reply ;-).
I would not call it professional players tho, more high-rollers. And i gues more gambling means more chance to a UL item.

But good to hear that its sill possible to get an UL.
